The SECRET DOOR that took 9 YEARS to open

Today we are going to talk about a very old secret about an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online game). It's called TIBIA, and I'm going to explain to you why this mystery took years to be discovered

You're great making videos, I can see all the effort in the production. Sadly, the research leaves a lot to be desired. There are a lot of points that are beyond inaccurate. Either ways, hope to see more from you! Best wishes.

300th like! Wooh! Well done.👏👏🤘. Great video, honestly. Although I swapped off PvP a long time ago to optional PvP. Might have wanted to mention there's optional and non-PvP servers so as to not scare anyone off.😅. I've played this game off and on since its release and have had soooo many accounts. It's gonna be a loooonggg time until I reach 999. My brother, whom I got into it, is a lot closer at around 750 & 650 on his EK's(Elite Knight's, for any newbies). It's actually crazy seeing all the 1000's-1400's, thinking i could have been there if i only could have remembered my account info.😅. Anywho, still a great game to this day!

I wish so much there was a remaster of this MMO. I didn't play it many times, but I know from people who played it a lot since around 2007 that it was insanely fun. I like very much how you had to type to talk with NPCs and cast spells, it was just not a game for lazy players as it didn't have loads of automatization. It was absolutely against the trend of lazy playing we have nowadays, with automated mobile MMOs and so on.

I think this won't ever really happen again Thing is, there are games technically similar to Tibia in a number of ways. Albion comes to mind, and Black Desert online has a similar lvling system and people controlling hunting grounds and killing each other over it. It's actually very similar to the hardcore principles of Tibia the more i think about it, but none of us would agree that it resembles what Tibia's spirit was The whole of internet is just not what it was and used to be. You can play Tibia, Runescape, WoW, Maplestory, all of which have been around for 20 something years and you'll find that all of them were as socially active as Tibia was during the height of its time. You can find 15yr old YT clips of historical moments and the social extravaganza that went down during the event, or people just talking to each other literally everywhere as if it was Habbo Hotel in an open game world We had to rely on each other. You had to ask ''hey what item is that, where did you get it, wanna go kill some stuff''. You don't have to do that anymore. In fact, most people would be annoyed you're interrupting them, or they'd think of you as a cute noob We're just not in the same culture and technological level that fostered what ''old Tibia'' was, because quite frankly it wasn't a particularly good game all things considered, it arguably had the most boring gameplay loop It's what we made out of it that was interesting, but nowadays you can amass a group together through a KZreadr, forum or on Reddit and do things that would never be possible in these older times, just from sheer manpower instead of 4 strangers turned to acquainted that stuck around and did stuff This stuff was also all new on every front of tech, and simply exploring was part of the fun too, but games today are figured out before they're even released and whatever environment we have today is merely and obstacle to traverse for get to the objective People say the anonymity is what ruined old internet, but that time was actually a LOT more personal than it was today, and i think most people don't want that because nobody wants to be bullied out of the game, but also most people don't enjoy having fun if it comes at the expense of others and that's where the hardcore and casual audience between these games differ so much I do agree about talking to NPCs though, especially because Tibia has many secrets that are hidden that, if you know the right word, you might get more information from an NPC. It's super unique and i'm desperate for someone to replicate it, since even today with being able to arm the internet community together, we still have unsolved mysteries

@@thegreatbambi5674 Ha! First time I played Tibia it was like version 6 or something, old old, but it still had that mystique to it and getting to the mainland was actually interesting. Dying to some level 16 Paladin after he was showing me where to buy skills and dying from the monster "Hunter" that looked like a normal player then yelling "Hunter is PK!" all over town. It might not have had the graphics, but it sure was realistic in terms of adversity.🤣

@thegreatbambi5674 in my opinion, it was best before the lvl and mlvl changes with runes and such. When you could be a lvl 8 Sorc with mlvl 60-70 and 1 shot lvl 80's with 1 SD rune. I always got back at the people who PK'd me😅. When you'd always train your skills on someones summoned monk. I believe that change occurred a good while after 7.6 and that 7.6 was my favorite, as well. Then I got into OT servers for a good bit, and even ran one, before going back to normal Tibia after that.

Lots of wrong and inaccurate info in this video: it's NOT true that you lose 20h of gameplay if you die (unless you play on retro hardcore servers without blessings on lvl 1500), it's NOT true you lose everything if you get killed (everyone and their dogs do blessings these days), it's NOT true it's Pewdiepie fav game (it WAS years ago around 7.6-7.9 version)... Also the couple infos shared about the 999 door says nothing about it and many things were left behind
