My dad is a pilot of a private jet and used to fly the jet owner to Manchester United games a lot. So sometimes he would get to meet the away team that United were playing after the game in the airport, as they shared the same private terminal. Used to be so jealous of him, great perk of the job. He has plenty of good stories and told me who was nice and not so nice. He said the nicest guy he ever met was Adebayor when he was at Spurs, he even signed a card for me and wrote a lovely message on it.

Is he a Skåne boy? My family from Småland have a very amusing hybrid Swedish/Danish type of accent (which I understand) but I also understand why people from outside of the region struggle with the accent.

@@MydigitalepitaphSorry to say, but there’s absolutely nothing Danish about the Skåne dialect. 😂 We Danes struggle to understand them too. Maybe Danish people from Bornholm will understand, but the rest of us not so much… 😂

Pretty sure players down south use Southend airport. Close to London and there’s hardly anyone there, I know Becks uses it.
