Hi guys. Some info regarding the swedish things. Smör means butter. The small grinders are for allmond. The "iron rods" beside the front door are weight scales. The small bed is a "grow bed". Its expandable for when the child child grows. Therefore the wheels on the legs. Husquarna are genuine swedish. 👍

The small grinders are for ANY nuts, for example walnuts. They were common throughout Europe, for decades.

Hello, I was NOT disputing the name "mandelkvarn". I have merely said that grinders/mills such as in this video were used throughout Europe for grinding ANY nuts. My late mother possessed such a mill and we used it for grinding walnuts. I was fortunate enough to buy a similar vintage mill two years ago, and use it for grinding walnuts and hazelnuts. Almonds can be ground more successfully, in my opinion, in an electric grinder/mill, as the result (almond flour) will be finer.
It would be really cool after you film the house, to talk to some of the neighbors and get an idea of where they went and what happened to them. I just get so curious.!

@@jassesvan Hej! Interesting. And good for you that you are safe and alive :D. So why do they (always in this videos) claim it´s abandoned? I also always wonder about some of the false facts, it is clearly not too hard to find out things right. Your house looks neat and cozy, just as i remember -95 ish (even though I can see the house is older). But it was nice walking memory lane with those kind of blankets, dried flowers and "moon and star -things". Had them too. And what do you think about the blurred disc in the video? :D

I absolutely loved this house it was so immaculately decorated and so well organized. I can’t imagine what happened to the whole family to have disappeared.😢
What a beautiful home they had! I feel so sad that everything is abandoned but happy that it is all still intact. Wish we knew what happened to the family. ♥️

This is a wonderful home, a true time capsule. The family obviously took pride in their home, everything is in perfect condition. Al the rooms were very well kept, no clutter anywhere. You’re always left wondering, where did they go to just up and leave their beautiful home and all their belongings and memories. This was a fantastic video!
what a fantastic mysterious house such a comfortable home to live in nice and tidy well looked after was in pressed with the lovely stoves like no one has left feel they still live there you guys find such great places
The short wooden bed is extendible. That’s why there are wheels on it. And the grinders are used for grinding almonds and nuts for baking. They are still used today, but mostly made of plastic

These people absolutely knew how to live, and keep things neat and orderly, with no clutter, and plenty of storage space... so well thought out... wonderful... literally a picture perfect life. But, they disappeared, and here I am, still here, still struggling to keep the mess at bay, and the windows clean. ☺️

Whoever did the roof on this place, did a great job. Not a single ceiling with water marks.
Beautiful time capsule- very heartbreaking to see everything in perfect order like they just left for the day, and never returned- so sad. My mother was from Sweden, we visited many times, and the furniture and style exactly like my mother recreated at our home in USA.

Lesley, Danny, you have found an absolute gem. It looks like the family will be back any minute from shopping. I wonder if someone is looking after the place. There is virtually no dust accumulation on anything. Flies and bees are attracted by heat, and sunlight. I found places like that had a buildup like that on the sunny side of homes. My aunt and uncle, on their farm, had that problem, until they hung up the tacky fly strips.

These residents had attention to detail, everything was so decorated, I wonder how they could leave everything like that and not take anything with them, what happened to them and if they are still alive
The hook with weights hanging on the wall looks like Gaff Hooks that can also way the fish. Love the little sewing room upstairs.

Beautiful home, nice and clean, this people love their home I can see they decorate their house every comer beautifully, lot of antique around the house, the little bed look a lot like a cribs for the baby just built in a unique way, very interesting home, thank you for sharing
That house is so cozy and beautiful, I would like to sit down and have coffee and pie with some people who like to laugh together 😅
The house was so pretty and warm like the family had just gone out for the day. It's such a shame they left so much behind especially the portraits of their family. Most likely they picked up and moved closer to a city or into the city to be closer to work or relatives. If they left way back in 1996 or about those babies are all grown up now. Their little home was left like a time capsule frozen in time as a reminder of how a family lived and loved in that home. Just amazing.

In the left window in the stairway was a wooden box. It looks like a box I have seen connected to a bee hive on the outside It was used to retrieve honey from the adjacent hive. If the queen dies then there is often a"hive collapse" where all the bees die off.
