    The ball leaves his hands like in slow motion because the arch of his shot is high. Beautiful. Also he doesn't get rattled with a close defender when shooting 3s.

    @@devinmcconnell7010 yea he has the magic and lebron for sure. He has that crafty and turkoglu shot selection. Pulls up, and does a good job with his shot selection. Either shoots, pass or give up a good shot for better but not scared to run the ball as the pg. He executes everything like textbook without too much hesitation. He often calls for the screen alot like hedo then pulls up a pick and cut, pop, or high top dish. Must be a European thing. The kings in early 2000 ran it alot with vlade, Peja and hedo. Kinda slow feet too like hedo but uses is double pump and up and under and those behind back quickly to lose defender

    It’s still fresh so people don’t fully realize what kind of a rookie year that was. Doncic’s 2018-2019 season will be a textbook case in universities in 10/15 years.

He just didn't fire against Australia, and they took a medal they'd been coveting for years. We haven't heard the last of Dončič. If his body holds up, he can only get better. Also, he's being included in comparisons with the greats of their time.

    This past season Luka had a game where he could've easily gone for 60 but he had the Mavs so far up he played himself and Curry out of the 4th altogether. Earlier they had a great duel. I say this to people who only look at Luka's career high, it would be higher by now.

    one of the most terrifying attacking players in the entire NBA. Doncic drives to the basket more than almost anyone else, and finishes with top-notch efficiency. His ability to get downhill and threaten defenses in turn allows him to whip out some of those highlight-reel dishes.

    I forgot what team they played, but last season the other teams plan was to double Luka over and over and over again. Luka found Dwight Powell in the paint for a dunk almost every time. Dwight Powell ended with over 20 points most of which were assisted by Luka.

    Curry and Doncic are 2 of my favorite players with one same reason, everyone doubt them at the start but they both ended up bossing the franchise. Curry has done it objectively and now in the talk of being among the goats of nba. Meanwhile Doncic is still very young and yet looking very promising. If he keeps this up and get some championships no doubt he will join the goats talk in 10-15 years.

    @@nonyabusiness1126 Because with some exceptions, their athletic ceiling is not super high so they spend the time working on skills. Its not a fair comparison and i actually like the guy, but look how DSJ turned out because of worrying about dunking and not fundamentals. Fundamentals come first, if then you can also dunk great if not, 2 points are two points even if its a lay up.

    He has an interesting shot even when he shoots layups he raises his arms so high above his head that it takes a rlly long time to release and arcs over all the defenders heads and lets it go in easy watch some of these clips and you will see what I mean his shot is basically the opposite of Stephen Curry who’s release is very fast

    Imagine if players in the early 2000s and before could get away with the gather step without getting called for traveling nonstop. It creates so much room but was always a travel prior to the current decades.

    In the 80's a defender could legally HAND CHECK, grab etc..... today you can't breath on the offensive player, anybody can score in today's NBA, it's to friendly and too soft.

    @@roderickwest2845 agreed. Which is why all the arguments for LeBron, Harden and Steph just aren’t valid for me. They’re amazing scorers because it’s amazingly easy to score when there’s no defense and you get a free foot or two of distance between you and the defender.

    He was not a kid when he came to the NBA. He had multiple years of actual competitive basketball in Euroleague. Which means that he already had a lot of experience before even coming to NBA.
