The Search for Dark Matter

Ойын-сауық

In a laboratory under a mountain 80 miles east of Rome this fall, a Princeton-led international team switched on a new experiment aimed at finding a mysterious substance that makes up a quarter of the universe but has never been seen. The experiment, known as DarkSide-50, is searching for particles of dark matter.
This conversation features Peter Meyers, a professor of physics at Princeton University and one of the lead scientists on the project. For more information, go to: www.princeton.edu/main/news/ar...

Dear Sirs. As reference, the paper where is described a solution of the rotational velocities observed in spiral galaxies, without using dark matter (but adding the Coriolis force in the rotating system, from the General Theory of Relativity), is the following (from 2020): article.sapub.org/10.5923.j.astronomy.20200902.01.html

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and powers, against the rullers of darkness or this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Pauls epistle to the church at Ephesus 6:12

Only a suggestion that dark matter or enegy may have previously been inroduced to man. "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which belive not, lest the light of the glorius gospel fo Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them." Paul's second epistle to Corinth 4:4 (Please forgice typos)

The Bible was written in 3 languages by approximately 40 men of diverse backgrounds over the course of 1500 years. From Genesis by Moses 1400 B.C to Revelation by John 90 A.D. It was written by bronze age men with no knowledge of the universe. They believed that earth and man is the center of everything, and that everything suddenly appeared 6000 years ago because of a divine intervention from a almighty creator. It is foolish to believe that knowledge that is so egocentric, false and narrow minded has something of importance to teach us today. Religious people will continue to interpret their so called holy scriptures to explain what science discovers, and in hindsight take all credit for it. At the same time they try to discredit the importance of science, just so their worldview is intact and they can sleep better at night. If it hadn't been for many years of hard work from countless of people from countless of different fields within the great world of science, non religious people, you would have "typed out" your message with quill on a piece of papyrus instead of a computer. In summary, show some respect towards science. Just because you take your knowledge from a old bronze age book doesn't mean your knowledge is the key to everything and we have to pay attention.

Well, I don't know about religion. But until you can define what it is, then you're still in the realm of metaphysics. Anyhow, DM as described by Emily sounds very much like Ed Warren's description of the dark manifestation and how it can manipulate matter. Ed's no longer around. So you better take Lorraine down there with you. She can help you manage the beast in case it manifests.

Dark matter is not something that exists physically. It is in fact nothing more than one hole or other in secular theiries about the origin of this or that in our universe, a way to try to explain a phenomenone by assuming dark matter is making it possible. All of these holes in the theories exist because if the thing in question is billions of years old, such as a galaxy or any thing else, it cannot be as we observe it unless something is holding it together or the lack of material necessary for it to be as we observe it is somethow undetected or undetectable. If you remove the imaginary billions of years of time fused into these theories, the need for dark matter and dark energy dissapears. The truth is, these things, dark matter and dark energy, simply do not exist and neither do the imaginary billions of years. Since the secular camp refuses to give up their imaginary billions of years, they will forever be attempting to prove the ecistance of dark matter and dark energy, and the only evidence of them they will ever find is the phenomenon that cannot exist without them, which in theor cortorted thinking is evidence that darkl matter and dark energy exist. It is circular reasoning, unscientific, and almost humorous to see these people endlessly striving to find new techniques, which fail one after the other, to detect what does not exist so that they can hang onto their false theories. It's like watching someone repeatedly toss a ball into the air and say, "I know there is an invisible genie that holds that galaxy togetherall these billions of years. The fact that the galaxy has not come apart is proof of the genie. Someday we'll have a way to actually detect the genie."
