I’ve read Prof Worthen’s definitive biography of Lawrence, so it’s good to see the person behind the book - what an engaging academic and nice man he seems - and if I may say so he even rather looks like Lawrence might have looked if he had survived to an older age ☺️

Thank you so much. I enjoyed this. Over three decades I have been to many places from Lawrence’s travels, from Cornwall to the Midlands, from Chapala to New Mexico.

The real story of the snake goes like this: A snake fell from a tree in to some burning bushes a man tried to help the snake by pulling her out of the fire, the snake bit him and by reaction to the pain the man lets go of the snake and she falls again in to the fire, he repeated this with the same results, a person observing told the man: Sir you are really stubborn cant you see the snake will always bite you? The man responded : The nature of the snake is to bite, I will no let this change my nature which is to HELP... The man the took an iron bar and pulled the snake from the fire saving her.... DO NOT CHANGE YOUR GOOD NATURE BECAUSE SOMEBODY HAS DONE YOU HARM... RETAIN YOUR TRUE ESSENCE, just take precautions........................ And that is the true story of the snake....
