Coch seems like a really humble, funny guy and definitely a goldmine of information. I love hearing stories and anecdotes about his time serving, his hijinks on the Teams, and his extensive knowledge of gear use and history.
“Marry the right woman…I didn’t that time.” 😂 I love it!

I'm really enjoying this series. Can't wait for the 2000s. Thanks Coch for putting yourself out there and sharing you experiences. I think Dor should be next followed by the other members of Tactical Hyve.
As a retired sailor of over 30 years, I still enjoy a good sea story. Thanks for the entertainment. Only a few will actually understand.

I grew up with the Cochiolo Brothers in ESJ and used to hang out with Mark’s next younger brother. I remember Mr & Mrs Cochiolo being pretty chill and having these cool schnauzer dogs. When Mrs Cochiolo took the boys to the store, she’d put the dog leashes on the 4 brothers so they wouldn’t run off. LOL. The boys got into martial arts and though they were pretty respectful, you definitely didn’t want to mess with them…..especially Mark’s older brother, he was very intimidating. Love the channel guys, keep up the great work. Hud.
Story time with Coch and Dorr is definitely my favorite content 👍 Equally informative and humorous... I can only imagine the shenanigans that 90's SEALs got into, especially Gold Squadron/Dev-Gru 😏 Sometimes on classified missions, but mostly on "personal missions" with teammates 🤣
Coch, you make me enormously proud to be an American. Endless thanks for your service to our great country. The world is a better, safer, and freer place because of you and the men you have served with (shout out to Dorr as well!). Tactical Hyve is such a wonderful and important resource, and I am hoping to come down from Los Angeles in the near future to visit y'all soon for some training! For those of us who live in California, we're very fortunate to have you here!

proud to be an american? 😂Number 20 on the best places to live!
I could sit and listen to Coch and Dorr for hours. This was so awesome.
I could listen to Coch all night. Brilliant to see him going through his career and his other videos. Great channel, great videos and even better instructors
First off, thank you *both* for your service and doing your part to help keep this country safe and free! I was a US Army, UH-60 crewchief in the 101st who got out in '90-- about the time Coch was playing "pick up sticks" in the dark with his leg... Hearing you guys talk is fascinating, and makes me really glad I was an aviator! Lol!
I was Army during the 90s so this is pretty awesome, loved part 1 of the 80s it was nice to see some of the gear I was familiar with
90's SEALS + "Word to you mother!" = HILARIOUS! lol I grew up in the 80's and 90's on 85th St. Va. Beach and got to watch you guys all the time at Fort Story and down at Damn Neck when we'd hit Sandbridge. Good memories for sure! I remember being FASCINATED with you guys, even hunting down Mr. Marcinko (Dick) at the grocery store on Great Neck Rd. I think it was Farm Fresh at the time? He signed his book RED CELL for me with, "Good luck, Hanging Around!" because that's all I could think of to say when he asked what I did! LOL. I was star stuck, afraid, and nervous all at the same time, so "Hanging around it was!" A classmate of mine's father was the Commander of Team 6. When I mentioned wanting to go Teams all it took was me telling the recruiter that the only health problem I had was asthma, but "I kept a rescue inhaler on me at all times!", for him to shut me down. In no uncertain terms he said, "You'd die and you'd probably get your swim buddy killed with you." And THAT was THAT! lol Thanks for the stories and your service!
Wow and very cool. I was a Marine, Lance Corporal, field radio operator in the 3 MEF command center, (TAD from my parent unit at Camp Hansen) on Okinawa, on satellite radio watch, when Mt. Pinatubo erupted. We had to monitor and record all helo operations for the next 3 days! Very cool to be in the same theater of operations as you during that time.
I like these "back in the day" segments.
LBT is still the gold standard for gear. Proud that they are still located here in VB
Coch! You rock!! THANK YOU for sharing your treasured memories with us. God bless
Night CE static line was my last jump. Never passed the annual medical after that to be allowed to jump again. I was on the DZ being treated and the DZSO/LZSO didn’t wave off the next stick. Following stick had a tib fib fracture and he landed within 50y of me. It was the highest injury rate for a night jump in a long time.

Sorry for your loss brother. Saw guys ets vs re-up to a leg unit or reclass. Welcome home, thank you for your service. 🫡✌️🤝
Natural disasters of 1991: volcanic eruption, typhoon and an ill advised marriage. Man that third disaster left a lot of property damage and hurt the most by far.
The 90's bet you know one of my best friends from Greenville South Carolina. He enlisted in 1990 went through BUDS 1992ish and was out of the Navy 1999-2000 then for a short time was a local Police Officer, this was all prior to 2001. After the towers fell, he went into the Air Force and became a Rescue Paratrooper retiring from the Military in 2014-2015, since then working for major intl arms company.
“Death in the Jungle” had his shottie Sweet Lips
This is around the same time I was an Army Infantryman trying to be all that I could be, but my plans fell through. Anyway, these stories from you Gents are awesome!
As someone born in '85, I may be biased, but the 90s were as good as it got for America. It's been downhill ever since. I actually just ordered a Vedder Rapidtuck for my G20sf yesterday. I'm just now learning about their lead times...

Born in ‘87, grew up in the 90’s. Definitely think back on how awesome it was. Got to grow up just before technology really boomed, I remember getting dial up at home in like ‘97 lol, couldn’t use the phone if you wanted to use the internet lol! We thought it was super cool anyway! Riding bikes around all day, impromptu baseball games and what not, walking a mile or so to and from school as a latchkey kid, gettin dropped off at the mall to hang out, coming home when the streetlights came on or there’d be hell to pay! times sure have changed!

As someone who grew up in the 70s and 80's and have lived since you were born, I disagree. 70s, 80's, 90s, 2000's, to this day 80's were Epic. If we could reset to 1980, I believe you would agree. Oh, starting at age 12 for those who didn't get the pleasure. 🫣😊😉✌️🤝
Many of us were in during times of conflict but were not in an assignment to be engaged. I was in the Navy, SUBS & Surface 82-05 and it seemed every time the Navy was engaged I had just come off sea duty/sitting on Shore Duty. Like you said, nobody wants to kill but you want to do your job and you feel like a slacker if you weren't in the action. Great content, thanks
I. Remember when it happened. But. Screws are. Awesome simply marvelous
Coch , Thanks for keeping us safe. I’m tune in all day to hear your 90 s story. Keep them coming .
Some of the best content on KZread right here. I sincerely look forward to everything you guys do. Keep them coming! Thank you guys.
Thanks again for sharing all the stories, Coch. Super cool to hear all the stuff you’ve done. Cheers, dudes! 🥃
Thanks for sharing, love the life advice and humour that goes with it. Please keep sharing more and the gear knowledge too.
Fantastic series! Please continue through the 2000s as best you can. I appreciate you sharing a personal career history and giving context to the evolution of NSW. Thanks again for the time you took to put this together.
Thank you for your service
Door with the gauge and Coch with the 9.
Great stuff. I enjoy y’all’s sense of humor and candor all wrapped up for us. Coach and Dorr!😎😎
Love the 2 of you comparing notes! Coch, your guys making what you did, filtered down to regular units. Took forever but eventually got there. Somewhat.
I love the reminiscing videos, the pictures and stories that go with them are great. More please
Good stuff, y'all have a wicked good knack for captivating stories. Hopefully there's a third installment!
Great video. The evolution of gear and tactics is fascinating.
Placed my 3rd order with Vedder, light draw OWB, Mt. Dora, FL, a couple days ago. Another great video from you guys.
Great stuff. Always look forward to new content. Thank you

I absolutely love this channel! Keep it up, guys
Outstanding video guys! I love hearing these stories. It gives me a completely different perspective than just reading about a period or event. Keep up the great work!👍
Great video guys, thank you for sharing.
Great video! I didn't know there was a comedian badge but Dorr obviously qualified as an expert. "Word to your mother" priceless!
Noticed Coch Gold patch on a previous vid. Really cool to hear u talk about ur experience! Thank you! Lbt still makes great stuff.
Awesome gentlemen thanks for sharing, and for helping those that deserved it achieve room temperature!
F the 80’s and 90’s I want to see Coch in GWOT era.
Fantastic,really enjoyed. thanks
Love the content, keep going through your careers please! Also more pictures would be appreciated!
In the early 90's, we hauled a lot SEALS and SBU guys from the PI and later Guam. I loved being on a GATOR and learned so much in my early naval career.
Look forward to each of these vids this channel rocks
Really enjoyed this guys.
And God bless you guys for being willing to go get those guys.
Nice! Keep them coming!!!
Channel and content just keeps getting better and better! 🇺🇸
Thanks man. Nothing like looking through an old photo album. We need that shit declassified quick so we can hear so good stories.
16:20 Interesting, Delta was running binos since the early 90's.
Good content guys, keep it up💪🫡
Keep it coming, this is pretty sweet.
Everyone needs a Krag on their mantle!
The Coch and Dorr show. Many thanks 😎
😂 dog over there under window passed out with feet up in the air. Rough night. 😂
Subic Bay is coming back, apparently. Some US firm bought out a part of the land as part of a US-Philippines defense agreement.
great vids
you guys are great!
Excellent Adventure! 🎸 Rock on!
Thanks for walking the fence.
maybe its my age.... coch is my favorite TH guy. Dorr... we're getting use to you.
Was stationed in Guam late 80's loved my time there
I wonder if Coch had any contact with ole Don Shipley? That guy is hilarious.
Nice mantle piece. My house is decorated in a similar fashion.
Sure like this content, keep it coming please!
Great video
Coch wonder if we ever ran into each other, grew up in SJ same time, went to Gunderson class 84, remember hanging at Eastridge and Oakridge. Worked at Montgomery Wards while in school. Love your videos
He'll yeah!!! What a rad life
Your 1990s were way cooler than mine lol. K through 12. School
Gotta so GWOT next!
I was stationed in the PI when the volcano blew also it was hell with the ash and sand coming down all my favorite bars collapsed
I got a Vedder holster love it they took awhile to send it to me and make it but it's nice
This is an extremely interesting perspective. I grew up in the Haight Ashbury in the 60s and 70s. Dad was a punk. Stepdad was Viet Nam. Supposed to go to Canada per Mom. Somehow I became a cop??? I was non aggressive. I loved my fellow citizens, but somehow had a great and terrible career :) I think Coch is the bomb. I thought I had an interesting life, but Coch is a special dude. Much love for Dorr, I guess his badass story in incoming. Better man that you and me. :D LIfe is short. Make it special doing great things. Dorr and Coch probably have regrets on what they shoulda, but they shouldn't if they do...
Dorr's sofa king calm he makes maple syrup pour like white lightning. You guys rock!

Anytime dorr talks about "work" forreal you can tell that man's stone cold in the field
Ah Magsaysay ! My stories are Top Secret 😊😊
All of you guys were a bit late on getting to the U.S. war against Terrorists . Beirut, Lebanon 1983-84. That was some wild times my friends.
The world is so much better today
My father’s marine helicopter squadron HML-776 was there at the same time. I’ve heard all about it.
When they mention the end of the 90s being attributed to the Trade Center Attack, you don’t understand what it was like unless you were old enough in the 80s and 90s to have experienced what it felt like in the United States up until the attacks…they are speaking from a military standpoint, but I also suspect that there are other elements to that statement…. Things were going SO well Stateside…you were living a carefree existence in spite of your obligations and responsibilities, in essence…things were good, financially and improving Socially….and it was all shattered that day
Id be interested to hear dorr's 2000s and 2010s stories.
Awesome video as per! New watch? 🧐
God damn I love these guys.
Blend in with the locals. "Sir why are the SEALs requesting 200 Addis track suits and a 55 gallon drum of hair gel?".
Yea uh well best video yet on the Hyve. Served same years in the some of the same places as you Coch. Seabees. Anyways thanks for your service.
“…needed to assume room temperature…” 😎
My GySgt's name was Ice. So Cpl Puskus was would sing Ice, Ice, Baby when gunny would come out to inspect. Get all of us trying not to laugh right before he stands in front of you for inspection. haha 90's were the best!
