My father in his 60s became an addict. It was long downward spiral from small and random sessions to major crystal meth over about 12 years. Cut a long story short. We as a family especially my mother suffered indescribable mental trauma. Almost to the point of each one of us having a mental breakdown. All along we knew he deep down wanted to quit, but it's ugly grip was very strong. The turning point came for my father when he hit rock bottom and attempted to take his life. But all praise due to Allah, with mountains of patience and perseverance he somehow miraculously was able to quit. Alhamdulillah we as a family went to perform Hajj in 2019. And at asr time in Arafat, we were making dua and it started to rain. I saw my father with his hands towards the almighty crying in dua. He Alhamdulillah has been clean and completely turned his life around. The lesson my fellow brothers/sisters. Never ever give up hope from Allah no matter how deep you're in this.

Yes!!!! The thought of dying i toxicated and the immediate punishment which will ensue to infinitum and being branded with the curse of Allah must make us all stop and then hold fast to the rope of Allahs way of life- islam. Allah guide us all.

I KNOW YOU ARE TELLING THE TRUTH BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE ADDICT WILL NEED 20 PEOPLE
@jame2182 Жыл бұрын
We lost our only recovering drug addict at our church and it broke our hearts. The truth is we all know it takes 20 people on board every single day all day long to keep the addict free. YOU SAID IT!!! the whole truth is there is a need for a primary person, we were fortunate in getting this one... THAT ONE AND ONLY that was a 24/7 every single day, week, month, year. IT WAS A JOY TO WITNESS THE FREEDOM OF THE YOUNG MAN. unfortunately the man that was his best friend, we all called "GRAMPS" died because he was old and tired. We all missed him and spoke about it, but our drug addict NEEDED him. Now they are both gone. What I remember is his entire family had given up on him and our entire church family treated him like a leper. It broke my heart to hear he had died but the truth remains ALLAH understood there would be nobody else left to step up. I found out months later as I spoke to his older sister and inquired about him... she didn't answer. Instantly I knew he had died and my heart broke all the way. She had moved far away and so did I when GRAMPS was "doing what NEEDED to be done" so we had faith and hope. Truth is some are not going to live because that's how it is

Sulaimaan 'fame seeker' Moola TV actor once gave a talk of how Imaan Abu Hanifas student thought he was now equal or better than his Ustaadh , the result was he came crashing down and realized his folly. This 'desperate for fame seeking' person Sulaimaan Moola also does not follow the teachings of his Ustaadhs and blatantly goes against them. What a shame.
