Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. It is a sentence of powerful words put together, like a positive statement, and this sentence is aimed to tap into your conscious and unconscious mind to motivate you, to challenge you, to push you to reach your full potential in life. All of us get more than 60,000 - 70,000 thoughts every single day. 95% of our thoughts are automatic thoughts. In this video I will help you to understand 2 kinds of brain patterns that we are parallelly running in our brain. These are the neural circuits of automatic negative thoughts & emotions and automatic positive thoughts & emotions and how affirmations can change your life. Affirmations are a great way to start reframing your negative thoughts at the same time it’s a great way to reaffirm your positive thoughts. Affirmations hold the power to start directing your energy towards the goal and vision that you have and it will help you to create that in reality.

For me, listening to affirmations stops the mental chatter which are often replaying self criticism. It’s like my brain cannot listen to the affirmations and critique myself at the same time.

Just remember that coping skills are like tools- sometimes you need a hammer and sometimes you need a screwdriver, so it's important to have a number of tools in your toolbox. Moreover, not every coping skill works for every person, and not every coping skill works every time. Meaning -- affirmations are a powerful tool for some people on some days, but certainly remember to be expanding upon your coping skills when you find the mantras are hitting your ears a bit differently. I wouldn’t have appreciated the power of kindness if someone was not cruel to me. I wouldn’t have realized the importance of growth if I didn’t see myself stagnating. I wouldn’t have appreciated the importance of health if I didn’t get sick. I wouldn’t have realized the importance of real love if I haven’t witnessed my parents’ relationship slowly fall apart. I wouldn’t have appreciated the importance of mindful money consumption if I wasn’t broke. I wouldn’t have appreciated the growth of my KZread channel if I didn’t start at 0.

@@akki7589 enjoying the process is one of our main needs. Use your intuitions and logical mind. Sometimes it's hard to balance the two but frankly, you will never know what you actually enjoy the most without trying it and being consistent. If you end up hating it after giving your best shot, don't be afraid to try other things. We are here to experience life. Feel free to experiment. Expose yourself to different types of experiences that can help you grow as a person. If you have to strike up a conversation most of the time, do it. If you have to speak in front of many people, do it. Use your discretion, but don't let yourself overanalyzing everything. The subtle art of not giving a f*ck made me unapologetically be myself while not being a narcissistic monster as everything is a spectrum
