Every day we use to run home from school to watch the Scene "Throw Down...Throw Down☺"

My dad was one of the dancers on here, his name is Dwayne Daniel, goes by Shane. This made me smile seeing him so young and healthy ❤

Im gonna say this. We messed up somewhere. THIS is how it was supposed to go. It wasn't perfect, but it was good. It was simple. We had a better time when we had the simple things of life. Nobody in this video was trying to outdo the other. They was happy and content. GOD help us get back to peace🙏🏽🥃🤝🏾

Wow!… My family owned H.P.T Fashions, 7 Mile and Monica.. I worked there as a teenager while attending Chadsey High School… this video brought back wonderful memories!!!!!!!

I recognize one young man(in this video)that I went to high school with back then-this is memories for me-and Nat Morris seemed like the perfect gentleman back then and I'm glad he was the host of this show. I also remember seeing the very first episode of The Scene when it first came on the air-along with TV 62 DETROIT-where President Gerald Ford had congratulated and acknowledged TV 62, for being THE FIRST BLACK OWNED TELEVISION STATION IN AMERICA, back in either September or October of 1975! Just thought some of you would like to know that...from the good 'ol days of coming up in Detroit. 12-11-23.

This was so special because I had cousins and friends on this show

This my parents generation and now there in there 70's to 80's yrs old now in 2022.

When we're happy the world is a better place 💛

As I watch this, it makes me want to cry I think of my youth growing up in Michigan ,Detroit, the motor city ,Motown,discotheques!🥲

I love it. I remember my parents doing the steps and never missing each other's hand or waist. Watching these clips some of the happiest memories come to mind. TY so much.. I can't say that enough Mr. Morris

Oh yes, good times. I'd love to be back there. Reminds me of my mom. I miss her very much.💜

You know they don't do that type of social dance anymore damn shame well some of the young females of to day would like to social dance like that but the males aren't picking up on it

I remember doing a commercial for Scotty's Party Store. It aired on The Sceen. Back in 1976. I'd love to find that commercial. I went to Chennel 62 over on Jefferson in Detroit to tape the add. Can any one help?
