The fact Gibson loved your comment makes it even better 😂😂😂
Mark Agnesi back at Norm's. So comforting :) I love that Gibson will allow Fender, Rick, Gretsch, etc to be included in their videos. I admire that confidence and acknowledgment that even the most brand-loyal Gibson fanatic still has a love affair with every great, classic guitar, regardless of who made it. We're all guitar fanatics first and foremost.
only Norman Harris who can said: "you know i told you not to go" and it feels like slapping Mark face softly 😂
Mark: You're still missed by many at GOTD!! Glad we have all the old video clips.
When Mark walked into the back room my heart went 💔
I 've bought a guitar from Norm in person, what a legend.

I did the pilgrimage to Norm's about a year ago with another musician friend when we were visiting L.A.. Norm was working that day. Todd greeted us at the door and treated us really well....even offered to get stuff out of the vault. I got to play a '55 Gibson ES-295 Gold Top and a mid 60's SG with mini-humbuckers on that iconic couch. As an added bonus, Tim Pierce was coming in just as we were leaving. I am a virtual nobody in the music industry, but this place treated us like we were family. Kudos!!
Oh man, I miss Mark. His GOTD episodes got me through each week. Lemmo is great and all but Mark’s personality will never be topped. All EQs at noon, just a little bit of reverb!

I don’t care for Mark at all. Find him bordering obnoxious and talks over his guests too much.
Thank you Gibson for taking us along the musical path, Jeff in LA USA
I remember years ago calling Norms store and Mark answering my call, it was cool having Mark help me with an order, he was very helpful, I still have my "Make Gibson Great Again" baseball hat and t-shirts that Mark sold me.
Normans guitars and a smoke shop next door... Winning combination🔥👍
You can really see Norm's sincerity in this video. It's scary to hear Covid's impact on businesses, even one as well established as Norm's. Hopefully in the near future us gigging musicians can get back out there and entertain some folks. Mark you guys at Gibson are doing a great job. Bought an SG standard recently, love it.

I love Norm. He’s is the sweetest most humble guy. When I lived in LA I would go to Norms all the time on my lunch break and Norm would just stop what he’s doing to talk and share. He is one of those guys that has the ability to make everyone he speaks to feel special. No matter if your a shoe salesman or Legends like Frank Stallone. :) Norm will always be warm and kind. It was always great to see Mark in the store back then as well. Long live Norm’s Rare Guitars.
Lemmo is great. Agnesi is legendary. “True freaking bypass!” #legit
went in there a few years back with my dad. at the time i was extremely obsessed with green day, and being a bass player the first thing i did was pick up a gibson ripper they had at the time. i just stood there in awe at this amazing instrument that i had just watched mark do a guitar of the day on. mark being the nice dude he was came over and allowed me to plug in, and was all around a super nice guy. needless to say i sat there and played the same four songs on that thing for hours lol.
As a bassist I miss Mark doing Thumpin’ Thursday and ragging on it. My favorite was when he reported the passing of a music legend and then said, “and what’s worse is.....it’s Thumpin’ Thursday!l
@timothycormier3494

Yup. I got into few scuffles with people who didn’t understand that I was joking about bass. Because I’d join in on the “ oh good lord it’s bass day again” or “ like the rain, I understand the need for bass. But when I go outside. I prefer it to be all sunny and guitars outside”
I could listen to these two talk guitars all day long ............
I miss mark at Norms so much. So happy he ascended in his career but man, what I’d give for another straturday with Mark Agnesi....
Mark just made up for the whole authentic debacle with this interview IMO. This was really professionally and tastefully done. Well done mark
Norm Harris is a brilliant genius with a heart of gold; while he is known for his work with guitars, he is a philanthropist who makes great efforts on behalf of the homeless. May you be blessed always!
Best 1-O-1 conversation, where y'all are reminiscing, and realizing what the Good Ole Days are, once again. Yep, absolutely the best. Thank y'all x1B 👍.
Now Michael Lemmo does a great job.... but GOTD really lacks the "Agnesi Historical Information" side of the guitars...

Take Lemmo all day. Better player and Mark is at Gibson! Gibson just rubs me the wrong way. They always have problems with something. Mark seems cool and everything but Gibson is just relying on brand name only. Tons of guitars are better than them.

Another Great one, been with Norms from the beginning, I remember Agnesi's very first Guitar of the day to the Lemmo switch over and Still rolling Along. Jen, without you where would they be, Thanks to ALL of the people who make it All happen there at Norms.............🎸💚
I'm glad Mark left Norm's, not because I didn't like his guitar of the day episodes, but because he made some awesome videos since then, going places he couldn't at Norm's. Good to see you back Marky, love your other videos, especially seing guitar collections like Brian Ray's!!
Always puts a smile on my face when you two sit and talk
So proud of Gibson not cutting out other brands of guitars in these videos! Everyone at gibson is doing fantastic
Loved this...what a lovely bloke Norm is.
Not knocking the new guys but when mark left gotd it was never the same, he played classic songs on classic guitars and I loved it
I will never in my life forget buying a guitar from Mark and Norm,,,,never ever! Great people!
Superb, Good times
I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to talk guitars with Mark and Norm, both super knowledgeable and great guys. Gibson TV is awesome!
I LOVE YOU NORM , YOUR THE GOAT OF GUITARS, THANK-YOU FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE 🎸🎸🎸🎸
I am one of them that don't play but do enjoy Norman's Rare Guitars channel. Mark your one of the reasons I started watching Norman's Rare Guitars, your passion and smile, Your can't fake that.
Great to see Mr Agnesi back at Norms. The days when it was about showcasing the guitars, not the person playing it!👍🇬🇧👍🇬🇧
I love the combination of music and caring for your fellow person together. Thanks to Norm and Mark for so many great videos, presenting quality instruments built with intention, and pursuing a life of passion!!
Gibson did the right thing bringing Mark on board. Killer videos.
Very fond memories of my visit from the U.K. two years ago. Met Mark and he sold me a Martin 00018 EC which I play everyday. Thanks Norm and here’s to many more years.
Norm's is the Place! Good to see that Norm's has adapted to the E-Market and Social Media as well as surviving in the age of Covid...Long My You Run Norman!
That’s what I love about Mark Agnesi. He immediately brought Gibson media content to Norman. For many people nowadays, they couldn’t separate Mark Agnesi and Normans Rear Guitar. What a modest, real dude. You’re awesome Mark!
Norm is looking good for his age. I still have the Tobacco Sunburst Les Paul Custom I bought from him way back in 2003 while I was on tour.
My favorite episode! It's just lovely to see Mark come full circle at Norm's. Would love to visit Norm's when the world gets better. ❤
Norm is a good dude. He deserves the all the success he has had. When I think of my dream job Norm's is pretty high on the list. Thanks
Having a cameo episode with Mark would be really cool. Maybe when there will be Norm's exclusive series of Gibson guitars?
This makes me so happy!
We miss you Mark! Good to hear more from you off script. It's where you're the best
You're the best, Mark, miss ya!!...🍁
I’ve had the great pleasure of visiting the store on a couple of occasions, meeting these gentlemen, and buying two of my favorite guitars in my collection
Hi Mark, I miss seeing you at Norm's. Hope you're having as much fun as I am!
Mark back with Norm...fitting for Thanksgiving.. Happy Thanksgiving!...come on back..heard that before
Love that mark is wearing a Tom Petty shirt. Little connections make a big impact

I did not know GIBSON was doing a great job in 2020 ! 🤪
This was a great video!! The old days of GOTD were a ton of fun! The comment section was usually full of the same people every day ribbing and teasing each other and mark. Certainly no flies on lemmo. The kid is an amazing player and artist. But I do miss mark tearing out some great classic rock tunes. On the correct guitar for the song. Thanks to both of you guys for the years of entertainment and guitar education. Lot of love!!
Really really really nice episode. Really nice to see these two guys hanging at Norms again. Like father and son. So much love and respect between them. Really nice to to see these things in these times. Thank you
Another grand slam by Mark! Excellent interview! Norm and Mark's passion for guitars is palpable. Perfect!
Excellent video. Totally loved it. It was great seeing you guys together and sharing such good stories. Norm I have a feeling George would have let you take a picture of you, him and the guitar together.
I am one of those who have made a couple trips to the store when in LA. It is just jaw dropping walking around. Norm was as nice as he could be talking with me.
That has to be the best interview that I have ever seen. What a great institution for the guitar community to have.. Stay safe and well & Thank you for being the Godfather of vintage guitars. Signed John Zepbass. Munster, Indiana.
Norman's is right down the street from me, in Tarzana. I live in Woodland Hills. Across the street is CD Trader that I go to often. Will go in there someday when I'm ready to buy. Afraid to now, I don't want to be tempted.
Not sure if this counts as a Norm-ism but when Mark did his off-shoot show "The Mark Agnesi Show" I broke down and bought an "All EQ's at Noon, and a little bit of Reverb" T-Shirt which I still wear when playing out in the garage. Thanks Mark!
Man this is literally the best podcast segment ever done! The authenticity and passion is second to none
Whoever runs this account is a legend. Still liking comments ! ❤️

Great interview... Great to see Norm and Mark together again... As a Vintage Guitar Dealer it just doesn't get any better to me... Thank You Gentleman ! Rudy@GRNY.
I bought my Martin D42 back in May to support the store during these tough times. Spoke to Mark many times over the phone when he worked there. Cheers.
After the couch, I expected Mark to pull down a new 2020 model and show ‘em how it’s done one last time! Maybe “The Scene: The Sequel, Norm’s Part Dux”?
Great to listen to you both talking about guitars. I hope to visit the store one day. Staysafe 🎸
I’m one of those non-guitar players who Norm described that still subscribe and watch the channel. Still love the instrument though, and its history. How do you not love Norm? He’s the best. Class.
it's great to see Norm and Mark sitting down and having a chat. Both are so influential to guitar players and enthusiasts. I might have commented before, I am proud to say that I've met Mark and Norm, I walked in to Norm's and saw Mark and quickly told him that I hoped that "they" paid him enough, Mark was busy and smiled, I bought Norm's book which he kindly signed and it resides on the bookshelf in my office. I have to say that Norm's guitar store has a great vibe, rare guitars all within hands reach, not like most shops with the expensive guitars hung near the ceiling. I look forward to my next trip to Norm's and wish the best for Norm and Mark in his new adventure with Gibson.
Good seein you back there Mark!!
LEGENDARY EPISODE!!!! \o/ I'll watch this over and over...
Love seeing you two talking!
Great vid. You can fell the love for guitars from Norms.
Yea!! Wiggle stickin with Mark!!
Miss you Mark
Great background history about Normans Rare Guitar! 🎸🎼
Nornam is a American treasure, thank you sir!
Im loving these new Gibson TV series. Mark was made for this gig, they are so good. This turn around has made me pick up my first new Gibson in 20 years. The 70s Explorer hopefully to be followed by the 70s V. Thanks for keeping gibson alive!

Wonderful...and what great memories
Really nice interview, thank you!
Norm being the man he is in the world of guitars and music is a given. He is THE MAN! Norm to me will always be that guy that helped out that fresh out of the Army soldier that had recently celebrated his exit and the great prospects that lie ahead of him when all went in the crapper. I had saved up for my dream Fender Tele and picked up from a local LA chain store and had it for a short 4 weeks when I desperately needed money. Knowing of Norm's store on Tampa Avenue, I brought my young Tele in. I presented it to Norm and his first question was, "Why are you selling such a pretty new guitar?". I told him my story and without hesitation, Norm told me that he would give me as much money as he could sell it for. My sadness of losing my Tele was instantly replaced with Norm's kindness and the words he left me with that day. "If you love guitars, they will always be in your life.". I've been into Norm's many times since then and have since done ok with life. Thank you Norm! I hope to see you soon while just wandering in without an appointment. ;-) Love you guys
Blessed to meet you Mark and Norm in September 2018, my son and I flew out to see my friend Doug Aldrich at the Roxy. We HAD to take a Lyft to Norm's❤️
Those guitars Norms stashed away sure have increased in value........... literally like 1000%+ returns for some...... smart investment right there
Damn, Norm provided me so much information in this 14 minute video. Manufacturers starting to cheap out back in the day driving the "vintage" market was such an insight. And then the reason why he likes "blonde" guitars, has to be a good piece of wood. I liked "blonde" because I genuinely enjoy the natural wood look, but now I have another reason to it.
Always good to see you Mark. Thanks Norm ❤
Norm is the best! I would love to check out the store
My favorite episode of GOTD was when Mark played that Gibson Advanced Jumbo while the store was being repaired for plumbing issues. That guitar sounds so good in these tiny phone speakers. What more in real life?!?
Keep these coming! I'll watch them all!
Norman is such a beautiful soul and Mark is such a great asset. I love the company and I love and will always be grateful for Mark’s contributions. I hope one day I can visit the store and leave with a guitar. Thanks so much Norman and Mark!!
Every time I hear "Norman's Rare Guitars," I start singing it in my head to the tune of "United Breaks Guitars," because syllabically it fits perfectly. 🎵🎶 _Norman's Rare Guit-tarrs_ 🎶🎵 I'll just leave that little earworm here to torment someone other than me.
I bought 3 guitars from Mark at Norm's and 1 from Nick since Mark's leaving. All Gibson's. Norman's Rare Guitars is one of the best places to buy vintage guitars. Much appreciated video! Keep up the great work!
I really need to make a pilgrimage to Norman's sometime.
-I’m super proud that I own a guitar that I bought from Norms rare guitars!!! 1991 Mexico fender jazzmaster! And a 1991 USA fender twin reverb amp!
I'm not even a guitar player and I enjoy Most of the guitar channels on KZread, especially this one

Can’t wait to buy a Gibson from Normans Rare Guitars. Mark is one of the main reasons I got back into guitars guys so knowledgeable
That was awesome.
So nice had to watch it twice ! Great q and a. Worth noting that apparently Norm hadn't been a Gibson dealer for new guitars for over 25 years but is now. Maybe Mark helped that.
Hope the audio was mixed with all eq's at noon and a little bit of reverb. Thanks Mark and Gibson, Great Ep!
I highly recommend Norm's two books. Both excellent. Norm is such a great guy!
I traveled from Montana with my 1905 Washburn to Norm’s. I have video of Lemmo playing it on “the couch”. Lemmo was awesome. Norm was about as friendly as a porcupine with me dragging my guitar into the store, but whatever. Bought a couple of T-shirts and bailed.
