The years of 1979--1983 was so wonderful to watch, Soul Train could not compete what the lovely people of the D were doing👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I remember back then when Soul Train would have it's national dance competition-and Detroit would win year after year, from like the late 1970s to the early 1980s-we had it goin' on back then! 12-11-23.

Watching this now as I am older this show was just so classy. Represents classy ladies and gentlemen. Great Production nothing but the best❤❤❤❤ I use to watch this A lot with my father. He was cool with the Dramatics. I miss him so much. My cousin was later on the show Ronda and Ðion Norman.❤❤❤

@COOPER'S KITCHEN TALK AND MORE !!!! That's right! They obviously didn't grow up in our generation and wouldn't understand how to stick together and hold each other up. Blessings to you!!! Man I miss the good old days and everyone I lost from those days, too young.

Ah, the good old days! It's funny how watching old video footage can make us appreciate the simpler times, even if they weren't always as perfect as we remember. But hey, at least we had some great hairstyles back then!

What's funny is that some people actually thought that Morris Day and The Time were going to be BIGGER than Prince back in the day until they found out that The Time was Prince....lol....
