@@icymcspicy8855 he is inaccurate, plain and simple. It is either too high (stratosphere) or too low. He is not taking advantage of his unusual power of his shots that could potentially harm the goal keeper. If he shoots at the goal while his teammates are waiting to pick the ball up when it bounces back from the goal keeper hands, everytime he shoots with combination with the other teammates, it would be a goal. As it is, the goalkeep does not have to worry, his shots are stratospheric.

Finally, someone with the ball knowledge! This is exactly what we wanted to convey. He's doing the role of the likes of Modrić, Bale, simultaneously. Any danger created, he tries to cut it off in the final 3rd itself by either closing down the sideline or tracking back for a last second tackle. On the flip side, he's ready to cover yards in a snap!

@@bio-nico Dude he literally tried in Madrid's last game against Osasuna where we won 4-2, he played closer to an attacking midfielder that game and made 3 assists, and he tried power-shooting multiple times, but it's either deflected or it goes to space. It's not low-confidence, he used to be more attack-minded because he used to play in a more attack-minded position up the filed last season. Now notice he plays a different role and position. He'll play wherever Madrid needs him because he is a player for the team.

In all my years watching football I never seen anyone comparable to Valverde. He’s the only player who gave his team a plus one player advantage.. as in 12v11. He was part of the front three with Benzema and Vini playing as a RW but played defense like he was RB. He’s a mad man the way he played like his speed and stamina has no limit. I believe that was the biggest reason Madrid won the championship league in 21. I’m happy Ancelotti don’t have to do that anymore with Bellingham and Rodrygo starting so we can see Fede play for years.

The usual offensive runs?? That was before the world cup. 2 years ago. Now of course his role has changed and contributes more to the team in defensive aspects but when attacking he doesnt help the team as he used to 2 years ago. He is scared of doing his runs as he used to and poaying vertical and risky to create chances. It could be something psychological because 3 months before the world cup he was the best box to box midfielder in the world hands down. Now he is incredibly timid to go forward and make risks in offensive plays. And the the biggest problem is that he is very capable and has been ver capable of doing that and even more. Now he dont even tries to shoot with his powerful shot that he has. Its truly incredible. Its a shame what low confidence could do to a huge potential like him.

We got to heavily disagree on that. You see, if you see the most offensive actions or chances created by a midfielder in Real Madrid is by Valverde. And this stats are from 23/24 of the season. Sure as hell, he isn't going full throttle as he used to do before, but now he became very poised when it comes to that. He's an extra shield to carvajal who drops deep to provide an extra passing option. Very rarely, he's been seen in the box but it doesn't mean he doesn't create those offensive plays. He just became more efficient and mature in his playstyle. Little less raw than how he used to be

He does it less, because his role has changed. Still a lot though. Most progressive runs in La Liga among midfielders, most progressive runs into the final third and among the most progressive runs into the box. Still topping the charts so what you’re saying isn’t true. Yes, less, but as I said due to a change in system. In the 442/4312 Carlo uses atm there’s no presence on the right, carvajal has obviously been instructed to go forward and provide danger and an outlet on that wing and Fede has picked up the duty of covering for him.

Everything said about sums it up, just sucks how he is not talked about, one of the best
