We in Rotterdam will miss him so much, but he deserves a place in one of the best teams in the world. From nothing to Champions League he made Feyenoord a topteam again. He always tries to make players better and he did that with Feyenoord players. I am sure Liverpool will be happy with Arne Slot.
Arne Slot will be a worthy successor to Jurgen Klopp. Same passion for the game of football, driven and inspiring. Empathetic and social, intelligent and sharp.
As a life long Liverpool fan I hope this is a Shankly/Paisley style handover and change of manager as opposed to Benitez/Hodgson one. Appointing a manager with a similar personality and style will hopefully keep continuity in terms of tactics and playstyle which is suited to the group of players at the club. Replacing Van Dijk and Salah long term is important though.
