IDK how people say MoM ruined her arc. She's had a dark side since AOU and many many villainous lines and moments in WV. Love her good side and her dark side! That's the true Scarlet Witch!

We all loved Wanda as a villain, I mean, it was inevitable considering not only the comics, but her trauma; however, the way they rushed into her being a murderous villain so quickly in MoM was the problem. It was tolerable, however, it just felt so repetitive when her character has been so complex: Age of Ultron: -Does bad things -Realizes bad things -"Fixes" bad things WandaVision: -Does bad things -Realizes bad things -"Fixes" bad things MoM -Does bad things -Realizes bad things -"Fixes" bad things At the end of WV, we are given the implication that she is going on a quest to learn about her power by HERSELF. It (imo) expressed Wanda's freedom from other parties (Ultron, grief, sadness, Agatha) to figure out her own moral complexity. It is, however, known that she has been controlled a lot in the comics, but it could've been a slower burn in MoM.

@@empty6155 yeah I totally agree with you! MoM should’ve been a longer movie to not only show Wanda’s decent into darkness but to also learn more of America Chavez. But other that not being able to see the slow burn of Wanda turning it does make sense for people who know what the darkhold is about. The darkhold corrupting someone does happen very fast. And the more you read the more it takes over you. Wanda had that book for 1-2 years between WV and MoM I believe so it does make sense why she was so evil and murderous. However in the movie they didn’t do a great job of explaining that to people who don’t know the darkhold. 1 line: “corrupts everything and everyone it touches” that was all we got. I agree that she was definitely looking to learn more about her powers and her legacy as the Scarlet Witch so she stops accidentally hurting people cause she is a good person at heart. Always has been. She’s just to broken and has way to much power that runs off her emotions. But unfortunately it was through the darkhold that she learned all that. And as soon as I seen the WV end credit scene I knew 100% she was gonna be evil af. And the Scarlet Witch is one of the last people you want reading that book considering her ties to the creator of that book.

@@t-mack8513 Yeah. I knew she was going to be evil as well after the post credit scene, but maybe I was just hoping for a Scarlet Witch + Doctor Strange team up first and then she turns villainous near the end. But nevertheless, Elizabeth killed it as a villain that you can sympathize for.

The transition are so perfect. That ending dialogue 👌.. . Scarelet witch is indeed the most powerful avenger

Wanda is the definition of unpredictable in comics! At least the MCU version is mentally stable to a degree and only goes over the line for personal reasons and doesn’t just have mental breakdowns (for good reason mind you) and warp new realities entirely! We should all be thankful Wanda didn’t even use her reality warping in MoM because other than the simple fact she didn’t have the need or want to she could’ve easily changed the universe until it was the way she wanted it completely, I mean Wong,Strange and even Wanda herself states that multiple times for the audience and from comics she absolutely could do it and even more frightening that clearly in the MCU she could do it otherwise they wouldn’t of put so much emphasis on that fact😳

What she is, inside, is simple: crying; simple as that... she's basically broken by the death-toll that Thanos caused in his Maltheusian rampage of mass-murder and population reductions... and she's actually basically "Vision's" borderline rapist via mind-controlling a robot via a love and/or lust spell to try to heal... she's not good at all. At best she's broken beyond human repair in the head by Thanos's murderous rampages and the casualty list he caused; and is really malfunctioning big time.
