i'm envious! i didn't grow up close to my parents because they always worked (the irony amirite???? lol) so i never really got an emotional bond with them

The closet I've ever had to growing up in/with a mexican household was my neighbors. They were really friendly, the dad was an amazing cook, and we (me, my little brother, and the neighbors kids) had alot of fun on their trampoline. The oldest kid was the translator for the family.
