The SCARIEST CLIMB in the world - Stolen Chimney on Ancient Art | Fisher Towers
The scariest and most spectacular climb in the world. That's how could be described the legendary climbing route Stolen Chimney on Ancient Art in Fisher Towers, Utah, USA. What makes this route so exceptional is the 20 m high corkscrew summit tower which lies more than 100 m above the surrounding desert. Standing on the top is definitely the most intense and unforgottable climbing experience of our lives.
Route description (Trad climb):
1st pitch: 35 m, grade 5.10
2nd pitch: 30 m, grade 5.8 (The Chimney)
3rd pitch: 10 m, grade 5.10
4th pitch: 20 m, grade 5.8 (The Corkscrew)

About 4 hrs which I did in my mid sixties .I didn't think it was at the time really exposed and rock didn't have much friction about 5.9+ to 5 10-
How long did it take? Tried guessing from shadows: 4-5 hours?

IKR, it is defintiely not that scary...actually, it's not scary at all. It is spectacular, as evidenced by the congo lines. If you aren't waiting in line for hours with every gumby ahead of you it can be done in 2.5 hours car to car...easily
