It is sad ,being a close friend and making out with your friends husband. I have been attracted to a close friends husband, even when he pursued me ,I told him very surely,I could never hurt his wife. The answer was Always. NO. What if that was me??? I hate it when people won't leave their money to their kids. Just because he was able to make millions doesn't mean it's going to be easy for future generations. Making a living is harder than it was 40 years ago. His kids might be doing OK. But anything can happen, and money can make a big difference for grandkids, great grandkids, etc... What's he going to do? Give to some charity that does God knows what with the money? I hate it when people say they aren't going to give their inheritance to their kids, grandkids who have brought them their biggest joy in life.

You bring up an interesting point. No matter who you leave your money to it will be misappropriated in some way. I can see not doing much while they are young and discovering who they are maybe or as he says "depriving them of that adventure" and alot of children of wealthy parents who get the free hand out wind up lost. He did say he would help them if they needed it. Chances are they will have been making their way on there own when he passes for awhile and not leaving them anything as they age and may have additional needs is kinda goofy Especially since so many charities wind up abusing the money. Also helping grandkids is helping the parents. Not sure I completely agree with him but somewhat agree. Maybe something in the middle somewhere.

I think it's just so selfish and cold of him not to want to inhence the lives of his future generations to come too!! Life is hard enough, so I don't think they will become lesser human beings just because Daddy gave them a helping hand! If they were raised right from the start with morals and integrity, then money shouldn't alter the core of who they are!! That's my belief anyway:)

@@twumwaa319 I agree...nothing justifies it. Nothing. It's just that too many Western men have become "horn dogs" and being rich and famous just makes it easier. Sting is an example of a society that's lost it's moral compass...and yet he's been with the same woman for 40 years! But, given how they started, and since she betrayed her friend, perhaps she also allows Sting his minor affairs so he stays with her? The Jezabel spirit is strongly present in the West today. All what makes a society (the collective) good, noble, strong and free is rapidly going down the drain in the West. Christendom once stood for something. Imperfect, flawed, as are all peoples, but, liberated, free and strong nonetheless, and one of the reasons Easterners wanted in, and seldom the reverse. Today? Westerner don't even know how to answer the question "what is a women?"! I believe the moral breakdown came first, all other problems followed. Anyhow, I just wanted to add my voice to yours...nothing justifies immoral behaviors...nothing...especially not on Judgment Day.

That is lust and adultery in God's eyes. Have you no sin? Unrepentant is not forgiven. Well, as a child of a couple who married accidentally without really strong feelings (mom actually loved another one who she couldn't marry), I would say -- not a marriage certificate makes you a couple, but something from another realm. My parents respected each other, and had lived for 20 years together out of a feeling of responsibility. DO I WANT TO REPEAT THEIR MARRIAGE? NEVER IN MY LIFE! I actually dreamt them to divorce and find the partners they would truly love, because I wanted to see real life and real feelings in their eyes. That's the story.

What is the relevance of a king. A man of no merit. Born into it. Achieved nothing but quite literally was at the right place. at the right time. I wouldn’t take a king or queen as any sort of moral compass. Look to people of merit.

She is a home wrecker and he is a life long back stabber. Of course they are going to put on a "happier than thou" act. They are ALWAYS better, more sophisticated, etc. than everybody. It is impossible to build a happy life on the misery you caused the people who rely on you, even if you have publicists and lie extremely well. It's bull.

Soulmates don't exist - stop using that as an excuse to do shitty things. Also just because people are married long don't mean they are happy. My grandmum was married to my grandad was 76 years - it was only when she died that we knew how unhappy she was stuck in an abusive marriage.

That’s cruel and I hope u never have kids if you think this way. Your children can still work but u leave them money (if u can) for their futures. Who knows what might happen? There was a famous actor who left not a single penny to his children who all had jobs at the time. His family in response ended up not showing up to his funeral. Worst thing was that his granddaughter needed money for a surgery.
