I am amazed at the stitching you have planned and I know we'll be seeing some gorgeous finishes. When I was a little girl and was visiting my grandmother, I would be so happy when the baker/peddler would come by her house, open his the back of his car and all the aromas would waft my way.

OK I just have to say I had to take a few months off in the winter time so I have caught all up and I feel like I don’t remember hearing the music before. Then the breaks for coffee. I think it’s genius! The music reminds me of my husband sitting and listening to me go on and on and on. Then we catch glimpses of or hear your husband it reminds me of Mr. Wilson from home improvement over the fence that we never see. I am enjoying your videos so much as usual but even more now. Thanks for showing all the lovely Shakespeare’s Peddler designs by Theresa Venette. I love her stitchytubes as well, and her shop is always full of inspiration. Hope your 5 by 5 goes well. I enjoyed seeing all your WIP borders. I really love sampler borders, and feel compelled to stitch the border first. I am still a monogamous stitcher. I get weighed down if I have more than one project going. But I am jealous of all you stitchers who have so many options! I’m afraid if I did that, I would just stand in front of my WIP basket and look like I was posing for The Scream.

I have moments like that too! I’m finally feeling like really digging my teeth (obviously not literally) into these pieces so I get get decent progress, and then be motivated to finally finish at least 2 of them this year! Hope that makes sense!

Hello Carol...always having fun when I watch your FlossTube. Please thank Mr. Saltbox for the still photos, great way to really take in the stitching and beautiful threads. I’m with you, I’m not a fan of “gold” either...when it comes to bows, would rather have tartan plaid bows as opposed to gold bows. I got back into stitching about 3 years ago and I started out with finishing two projects from the mid-80's that needed finished. I got those done in 2021 -2022 and found floss tube which educated and motivated me to start a stash of fabric. I like your 5 by 5 plan. I am pretty much a monogamous stitcher, but for someone with a lot of wips that sounds like a great plan. Thanks for the Shakespeare's Peddler parade. The Kitten Stitcher does carry a lot of great stuff!

Oh, I once fell in love with a peddler, he was a dandy and a cad. Once he married me, I turned him into a Dad. 35 years later our life has been pretty darn great; i am very thankful for our first fortuitous date.
