The Sadhu who came to Varanasi from Italy

Varanasi has seen countless mornings over the last few thousand years. And on one of those mornings, I met a man who was probably one of the most enlightened souls I've ever met and interviewed, during my career as a filmmaker. His name was Baba Shiva Das and he came to India in 1974. He felt an attraction- so much that he decided to spend his life in this city.

I hope that his soul never come again here, Moksha or Nirvana is the ultimate goal and i think he achieved it. On the death bed he wouldn't had any materialistic greed, he was happy and he went. He went into shiva, from "shiva das to shiva" was his journey. I hope each and everyone of us to be this much happy and satisfied with life. Aum Namaha Shivaaya.

The transformation of my old-self to my new-self is undeniable to me, what we uncover is the true core of ourselves, both energetically and spiritually. @@zdenkkk no, the two have nothing to do with each other. If you keep on meditating, then you shall attract the right partner, one that is on the same frequency as yourself, one that wants to grow alongside you. Know that the right partner for you shall come along when the time is right, this may be tomorrow, it may be 20 yrs from now, but if you do not let go of your dream to have a loving partner with a beautiful connection, then this reality through your meditation, shall come to pass. you must KNOW that you already have a loving partner and keep knowing this, then you will find that partner, you were looking for, you will unequivocally know, this is the one! Always ask your Guides for assistance, speak with them if you can hear their replies, that's what they are there for. Knowingness is essential in creating a reality, never drop from this frequency, the knowing, and you shall eventually meet your beautiful soul mate, if this is what your heart and soul, truly want from and for, your life. loving Blessings from within the light, may you create the reality your heart desires. Be well, never stop meditating, you are the creator of your experiences, remember this zdenkkk. Light-filled blessings to you, you are love and light, know this! The fact that he visited India in 1974 really makes me wonder what India must have been back then with no much technology, less crowd unlike now. The place must have been a real beauty with less human pollution. I believe because it was at that time he came to India he got good teachings of our culture. When he said "I don't see people, I see souls, it's all about spirituality, not religion" made me realize how much our Indian culture is getting saturated and misunderstood because somewhere the teachings are not being taught without proper background study. Sincere Gratitude to you Sir for making this video and for all your work. I visited Banaras just one and it seems to have seized a part of me. That is when I came across your Subah-e-Banaras video. What a video! I have no words for it. The revelations made by Baba Shiv das, .....the way he forsook his home country Italy, and embraced a way of life so far removed from the materialistic world he came from. His interpretation of life....." It is. not a religion. It is spirituality. I don't see any body. I see souls".... is thought provoking. You are indeed blessed to have met such a person, spent some meaningful time with him and tried to understand how a man at age 22 came from Italy to Varanasi a place he knew nothing about, and yet ultimately fell in love with Benares, renounced his western culture and without any hesitation took up the life of a sadhu in the true sense of the word He fully understood that mantras were not meant to achieve any kind of selfish pursuit... for mantras used for wrong purposes would lead to one being consumed by fire. Which ever mystical , cosmic power pulled him in this direction, also made him understand the true meaning of love. That shot of Baba Shiv das staring steadily at the camera, , probing eyes... They were the eyes of someone looking at us from a distant world, another dimensional world, a world beyond our reach where time and space do not matter.

Love is every where, Once u feel joy in the journey by waking up to rise with the sun, then u are part of the existence that surround you. He really touched me heart, and transported to a different dimensions with his word selection, May he rest in peace, would have love to meet him, specially cause i speak his mother language, his free spirit would have been the school to my lost soul.
