I mean the only thing I know is wrong is Fi's theme, that track is actually Fi's gratitude. Fi's theme is actually a little bit faster and more upbeat.

Look up Fi's Farewell or Fi's theme (piano lament) they are official tracks in the game. That's most likely what they were referencing

Also, I think it's happy and like to finish books while listening to it, mainly because it gives the feeling that the trouble is now over.

Ballad of The Wind Fish is the saddest because of its underlying meaning. Link’s whole quest is to end the world.

All of these were sad in their own way. For an example, all of the champions themes feel sad for me, because of what happend in the game. Revali's theme may not be the saddest song, but the meaning behind it. He was insecure, and tried to prove everyone he was as worthy as others. Then he died, like rest of the champions. Another example. Grandma's theme is not a sad song for people who don't know the meaning of the character or the song. When Link left, Grandma became so worried that she got ill. For me, the meaning of the songs also make the song sad. Fi's farewell is sad, y'all know why. I don't even need to mention Midna's lament. All of them are special in their own way.

A bunch of these are not sad at all imo, such as Ilia's theme or Zelda's lullaby. But some of them I agree are really sad, and I had completely forgotten about a bunch of them until I heard the first few notes. I remember being so worried when we had to rescue Midna, and after my friend told me what happens with Fi at the end of SW I played to the endboss and refused to finish the game lol. Overall really nicely done!

Look, I may have been crying during the TotK Staff Credits, but it wasn’t because I was sad 😭

During the healing song, she remembered.... "You've met with a terrible fate... haven't you?!"... I feel like the song of healing is truly some of the saddest Zelda music

I remember going around Termina while the Final Hours theme was playing , interacting with npcs and hearing how they're all scared or lost while the moon is about to crash , the saddest were the postman hiding of fear , Romani sisters wishing a good night when Cremia knows there will be no tomorrow , and Anju and Kafei willing to great the morning together,

I think my favorite sad Legend of Zelda songs are: The King of Hyrule's Wish - Breath of the Wild Prince Ralis is Saved - Twilight Princess Gate of Time - Skyward Sword Daruk's theme - Breath of the Wild None of these are here, but everything in this video I also really like!

Zelda Lulleby always makes me cry hence I played Age of Calamity

The only change I would make is to change versions of the Serenade of Water. While it is still indeed original to OoT, the more complete (and therefore, superior) version comes from TP.

Twilight Princess title is not sad. It's actually a brave song, just because the piano sounds like it.

I wouldn't call Urbosa's theme sad per say. I hear it more like a lullaby which is kinda fitting if you ask me.

Quite a few of these are more calming than sad, like Serenade of Water, in Twilight Princess, yeah, it's used for when Rutela's spirit talks to you and yeah, that is sad to know the queen of the Zoras has died, but in Ocarina of Time's standards, it's not really sad since it's main use is just to go to Lake Hylia, there are no sad implications behind that version, I believe that to make music sad, it has to both sound sad and have sad implications behind the music when it comes to game music, like Midna's Lament, that's sad because one, it sounds sad, and two, it's a moment in the game where one of the main characters is near death, and if Link doesn't hurry, Midna will die, so that I can understand

​@@AkunoRaion since I haven't played that one I didn't have the association, and without that association imo it doesn't sound very sad. It's an odd game anyway, the existence of the island is questionable to begin with if I'm to believe some of the videos I've seen on the game 🤔

@@undefinederror40404 no, it really is quite sad in the game. the association goes far beyond the end of the island. it becomes really personal, as it represents both the loved ones that connect link to the island, as well as what will inevitably erase the island, and all those loved ones with it. i personally do have the nostalgic association, since i first played the game almost twenty years ago, as a child, and have played it several times since. but still, it’s a really emotional song. links awakening is definitely an oddball of the series, but it’s very well done, and genuinely very tragic if you pay attention while playing.
