I'm using a guitarlift as a guitar support and I'm playing on D'addario XT nylon strings here :)

I heard Alicia Jo Rabins do this song in like 2005ish and LOVED it. I revisit it often. Thanks for your rendition, it's beautiful.

I’m happy you liked it Matty!
A star is born❤️
This is a beautiful performance of one of my favorite laments. Interestingly, there is some debate over just what or whom is being lamented here. While it is true Niel was married twice (first to Margaret Wiseman and later to Margaret Urquhart), Niel Gow (1727-1807) was the most famous Scottish fiddler of his day and it has been said by some that the tune was not a lament for Urquhart, but for his fiddle, which he had dropped and broken. Whichever is true, it's a beautiful piece of music. :)
Beautiful just lovely Thank you. I can't wait to learn this. ❤
Just wonderful. Thank you for your amazing music. Mad love from Victoria BC, Canada 🍁

Thank you Beatrix for beautiful perfornance of such a lovely piece of music. There are lots of great players but for me you have special musicality in your technique...reminds me a little of Julian Bream...You are a great guitarist and interpreter of music so I agree with your other reviewer in asking for an album of your serious works please, so that everyone can hear. Thanks..

Thank you for your kind words! Well the album project is still going, but since this is my first album I work on it pretty slowly, it takes a lot of time to figure out everything regarding to publishing and all. In the meantime, please check out the plans and the project of this upcoming album! gogetfunding.com/this-changing-sky-my-classical-guitar-debut-album/

Excellent ❤ that was really impressive given it’s a fiddle tune. I wonder if you would consider doing Ashokan Farewell, given that you’ve done this one.

Message of the Sea- a really wonderful collection of Celtic music that he arranged Mathew Mccallister on KZread plays a live set of it, and has really cool interviews with Mr. Russell
Do you perform clasical Christmas peices?
You should have seen the one he wrote after his fifth.
Which guitar is this? It was waiting for you.
Gyönyörű 🙂
