I just happened to be watching the episode when Dave admitted he was having a affair. The audience thought he was joking. Little did anyone know. Dave got caught with his pants down. I'm glad it worked out for him. We all make mistakes. Thanks for sharing.

That blew my mind when I found out Dave was having affair with that cute employee just out of College. He would make her dance and the bits were more like a Father and Daughter than two lovers. Creepy.

I would not have blamed his wife if she had left him after learning about the affairs. However, it was super satisfying to watch Dave give it to the attempted blackmailer.

Regardless of his behavior, he handled the scandal brilliantly by getting out in front of it and confessing on air, which nulled any attempts by that guy to bribe him. Had he tried to cover it up, he would have had to resign from his show in disgrace ala Matt Lauer.

I love Dave. Always have, always will. He’s got an amazingly attractive charm about him! I bet it was much harder to fight the women off than to give in. I liked his style tho! As far as the blackmail went, he said “checkmate”! He’s got a lot less of a past than a lot of others!

Letterman learned from Johhny Carson's divorce and settlement issues and didn't want to repeat that in his relationship.

An emotionally mature creep?!? I’ve seen everything now. He gets no points for being honest. He was a dirty liar until he knew he couldn’t get away with it. He does get points for accountability though.

I recall that at the time Letterman got good press when it was revealed he turned this over to the police. Wow, what would they have said if Leno had admitted to something like that? He was never the fair haired boy in the media during this period.

David had many women after admitting to one affair. He disrespected his wife.

@@mellocello187 … Google his affair or affairs he had with female interns. It was a huge scandal in the mid to late 2000’s. The intern & her boyfriend tried blackmailing / extorting major $$$ from David Letterman and he unfortunately had to face the consequences and call the FBI to report the extortion.

She stuck with the father and money printing machine.

Sad truth is- you gotta wake up to that every day.

I miss Dave so much. I wish he would come back. Imagine the $$$ deal he'd be given. Lol.

Dave can never be the GOAT. He preyed on multiple female employees, and made everyone else uncomfortable with his attitude and demeanour. People hated working there, and Dave ruled with fear, while putting on a usually mediocre show. Conan did it all while being kind.

Dave’s bullying of certain guests he could bully and submissiveness to those he knew he couldn’t always seemed kind of, to use a term he might come up with, weasely. But everyone has their faults and cheating doesn’t make Dave a criminal. But having sex with subordinates is definitely not nice behavior and it does cause damage. So we know Dave is no saint but people who do bad things I’m convinced suffer more then anyone they hurt. But that’s just me. Still Dave has shown from many comments he has a very decent and fair side to many of his actions and in his outlook on life. And he did make millions and millions of people laugh and entertained in a deep, meaningful way. So hopefully we can still look on him with some love.

Yeah, I'd forgive the infidelity JUST not the growing of the beard! I'm sure he's devastated by this info!

I think he's so gross, this is the guy who put some of Jennifer Aniston hair in his mouth while interviewing her back in the day, from my perspective he seemed 2 over do it with his female guests.

KZread’s algorithm & overall viewership has drastically changed. This account has 2.3 million subscribers, yet this video has been up over 48 hours, obviously 2 full days/nights, hasn’t even broken 20k views, and has THREE HUNDRED likes….while videos on basic “point and shoot” zero editing or production commentary channels will now garner hundreds of thousands of views in the span of a Tuesday afternoon. It’s truly scary imo that anything with any form of production/substance/research is now pushed aside for a lazy commentator whom creates content for the sole purpose of being wealthy/having some sort of online celebrity…

Fluff piece no new information, Dave is a cheater and probably still is, she's not going anywhere she's a woman she loves all His money. He's trained her.

David would do anything for hockey tickets. I think it's hard to be a really good person all the time. Part of being human is a lack of self-control. Don't bet against human nature.
