What a misleading title!!! There is nothing tragic about Anne Murray’s life. She has had a life of immense admiration & success. It has been a life w/ups & downs, just like that of anyone else, but far from tragic &/or sad, at least not beyond anything beyond what any of us by her age, have endured.

Just turned it on to make a comment…….nothing to see here, nothing tragic about Anne Murray’s life or career. She’s just fine thanks!!

We love her songs. My all-time favorite is "Tennesse Waltz". Anne sang with immense feelings. I could cry each time I listen to this song.

Annes career is anything but tragic.

I love to hear you sing. Your daughter is very beautiful. When my dad was dying from alhimzer I would try to sing your songs the way you do he loved that. Their are times I thought he didn't hear me but he did and said he really enjoyed hearing me sing. I thought somehow I was easing his pain.. Thank-you for giving us hope. That was my time that I shared with him the rest. Of the family didn't. 😊

Anne M. has been in my circle of music for years, just an extremely talented person with her singing and song writing. Aside from all that, she is very pretty with a heart of gold. I've met her in different functions, she was always the same, just a really nice lady. I can still hear that illusive voice, like an angel singing. From a fellow Nova Scotian, and an admirer of all those talents, Thankyou for being you.

I had the pleasure of attending an Anne Murray Concert at Busch Gardens in williamburg, Virginia in the mid 80s. I was one of two black people in that audience. Midway through Anne's performance,I noticed that everyone including myself were side to side of Anne sang "Snowbird". Anne Murray has a purity to contralto voice that's amazing. One of the best concerts that I had the pleasure of attending while in Virginia.

He did way too much repetition, too. Could've said everything in a 10 minute video, instead of dragging it out to 20+ minutes.

Click bait titles should be treated as defamation of character!! She's had nothing short of a fantastic, monumental career AND RETIREMENT! Get a life!

The tragic ending is her career ended. The last couple of times I saw her perform live, I could tell she was struggling with hitting some of the notes. Unfortunately, that's what can happen as a person gets older. Same thing happened to Frankie Valli. Although I wish Anne could sing forever, I respect her for calling it quits. I'm just thankful for the many years she performed for us.
