The Sad Case Of Alexis Sharkey
November 28th, 2020. The sun is gradually rising over the large city of Houston, in Texas, USA. But this was no ordinary day. At eight in the morning down Red Haw Lane, situated next to the Houston energy corridor, the naked body of a young woman was discovered.
Her name is Alexis Leigh Sharkey, a popular, well-known social-media influencer who lived life to the full. Her lifeless body would soon prove to investigators that this was no accident, Alexis had been murdered. Buy who would want to kill her? As a social-media personality, she had a large following, the list of suspects could be endless. Police wouldn’t solve this case overnight; They would have to use all of their experience to get to the bottom of it.

One of the core values of all MLMs is toxic positivity. There’s a chance Alexis didn’t tell anyone about the DV because it wouldn’t go well with her hyper successful MLM top producer. I prefer it when murderers take the cowards way out. Think about it, instead of the tax payers paying for states prosecutors and his time in prison, it only cost a couple dollars for the bullet that he paid for himself. Also, after the murder you know he was constantly stressed about being caught, so you know it wasn't good for him. I'm curious, why that choice of photo as a thumbnail? She's an influencer; she must have had a lot of beautiful, curated photos to choose from. Is that choice serving your purposes in some way?
I don't know how this guy thought he could get away with doing something so heinous to someone that he's supposed to be spending the rest of his life with? What led to him strangling her and then dumping her body just 3 mi away from their home? Changes his story three times. He also doesn't grant the family the rights to bury their own daughter. Runs halfway across the country, Then he took his own life? in his own daughter's house? Not the actions of an innocent man. By the way love the channel! I love all the work you guys do, to make these videos for us viewers! I can imagine this case was particularly difficult to research due to the social media aspect of the case and all the crazy theories out there. Thank you for being a part of the true crime community!
What’s up with that photo of her in the thumbnail?

Looking at Tom you see a narcissist that is obviously using steroids which makes him a powder keg waiting to blow. That’s just an observation, but we’ve all seen this too many times. 45 year old men don’t look like this just by weight training and steroids are known for their negative side effects.

Tom realized what he married a Gold digger ! a women 20 yrs younger then he is - Women are finicky Alexis probably got bored with “ old man “ Tom . Tom probably decided Party’s over , Alexis gots to go!
if you look up the definition of "cringe douchebag" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of tom next to it.

The Pathologist took a month to say she was strangled. The wrong family was given her body.. how disorganized were they. The husband is always a suspect. This was poorly investigated.

When a spouse dies, the husband or wife will be the ones to decide on the final funeral arrangements. He hadn't been charged yet.
He’s a control freak and a murderous narcissist. He could not stand the light in her, or how loved and popular she was because he wanted the attention, he no doubt had a very inflated sense of self. He is a weak and pathetic individual, hence why he couldn’t face being caught. My condolences to the family and friends of this beautiful young lady 😞

You come off as kinda psycho. Or maybe I'm wrong, how long did you know them? Was it the light in her that made her rip ppl off in a pyramid scheme? Or marry some old guy w/nothing in common? You try to defend her as not being hot and stupid and not fitting stereotypes of her kind, then say she got a job at a bar similar to hooters. Hilarious! Putting her pointless degrees to good use😂 then the pyramid scheme! This one is good.
It seems 9 times out of 10 times if a dude dates some one way way out of there league it ends badly and in a lot of cases tragic… I guess it’s hard to lose something they know they’ll never have again. I’m not saying not to give an ugly dude a chance. But if he’s twice your age not nearly as good looking or successful… the inevitable split is gonna be rough for him and if he isn’t a strong person it could get ugly.

Do you have any data that if there is age gap of 10 to 20 years, all of them fails and if there is exactly the same age and not even a gap of one day then all of the are succesful, any data from any recognised institution?

@@billyyank5807 Absolutely 💯 It's not just women, many men suffer abuse too, and that should not be forgotten. It's a reflex to talk about DV in relation to females because statistically, it usually is women who are the victims of this type of abuse. All the best 👍🏼

I don't know. There's something about her in most of her videos and photos that seems to say she's faking it, putting on a happy, successful and popular image but you can still see her pain and suffering behind the facade. And that is 90% of what social media is, do you actually think that anyone or any relationship is as perfect and proper as it is portrayed in social media? Realistically just like the narrator pointed out, people only put on social media what they want you to see. More over I would dare to say the more a person post and seeks affirmation and attention thru social media is a red flag

I got bad vibes seeing how she treats her cats
Seeing the pics with her mom especially got to me today. They look so much alike and have such lovely bright smiles. And here's this obviously proud mom, and for very good reason. It's not easy raising a child, takes decades of patient, dedicated concentration on every aspect of the child's existence...you really put the majority of yourself aside and focus on this little being you love more than your life. So she's watched Alexis grow up healthy, intelligent, a go-getter, determined, vivacious, independent, and a great success at all she tried. Then here comes this man and he destroys it all. He took Alexis from her family and friends, took Alexis from the bright future she was earning and the happiness of a long life she deserved. He just shows up and wrecks the entire lives of this family because he can't adult like normal people, can't get his shit together and understand boundaries, and now all her mom and dad have to hold on to are those pictures and the knowledge of everything that might've been. All that time, love, and joy put into raising Alexis, and no one gets to benefit from that now, Alexis never got to choose to be a mom herself if she'd wanted, all because of this selfish, overgrown child, this disappointment of a human being. My very deepest condolences to her mom, her family and friends.
