Completely wrong info why Kings can’t offer as much as other teams that HAVE cap space to do so. Kings are over the cap, so they only have Malik’s early bird rights because he’s only been on the team for 2 years, limiting how much we could offer him. Nothing to do with the “new CBA”

With only having his early bird rights and not having cap space, they were limited in what they could offer him. Something along the lines of 175% of his salary last season with 8% annual raises. Technically that is because of the restrictions in the CBA. Contractual restrictions and limitations are all because of language and clauses in the collective bargaining agreement.

Y’all for real are sleeping on Fox as a whole. Dude is also an amazing defender, lead the league in steals. Not to mention the step up he’s taken at the 3 point line. Please explain why we are a bad defense when we showed after all star break we are a top 10 defense. Keon, a top defender. Fox, a top defender. Keegan, a top flight defender. Sabonis actually isn’t a bad defender at all(y’all are suckin that main stream with that) Sabonis got all defense votes. He’s actually greatly improved since being under Mike Brown. The hole in the defense is Harrison Barnes, who is actively getting shopped and isn’t a terrible defender just getting older. Y’all missed on this one. Stay smooth.

Sabonis cant guard in space and doesnt protect the rim but becuase he got a dpoy vote hes a good defender 😂😂😭😭

Sabonis can actually guard in space(he’s not the best, but he’s good enough) and he’s also not a bad rim protector(doesn’t show as blocks, but again he’s not bad). So please tell how much more Kings basketball you’ve watched than me. Lolol

Unfortunately this show is just like everybody else. They just sleep on the Kings like everyone else. They deadass said PG13 to Sac wouldn’t move the needle much and named them last for fits for PG. Super disrespectful. If Kings get PG, they are instantly contenders. A top 5 of Fox-PG-Sabonis-Keegan-Monk with a solid bench will get you very far. Not according to this show

The kings are as good as they will get internally wise , they need to trade that pick along with huerter or Barnes or both and go get a 3rd guy , Memphis , Houston , spurs going to get better we need to keep up and make a swing ! If they draft a player and make 0 moves Fox might be on his way out

Malik Monk should've went for the bag, loyalty is not rewarded in the NBA. He will get screwed over in a couple years and nobody is going to bat an eye. Look at what happened to someone like Lou Williams who could've gotten a bag after playing for the Clippers but decided to stay and then a year later got traded away and didn't make much money after.

Him resigning with the Kings shows some loyalty but it also means that $100m contract wasn’t there. Whatever teams offered it was not enough more for him to leave a comfortable situation with his best friend. $100m from the Magic and he would have been out of there. Couldn’t have blamed him either $100m and no state incoming tax in Florida vs $78m with outrageous CA taxes. He took a discount for sure but probably not as big of one as people think.
