The Ryedale Socierty of Model Engineers August Bank Holiday Gala 2021
The Ryedale Society of Model Engineers Limited (RSMEL) is a group of like-minded model railway engineers of wide ranging ages and experience. Members come from all over the country. Most live within thirty miles of the club which is in the village of Gilling East but others come from hundreds of miles away. The main activity is developing and running our fine miniature railway. Most of the railway is multi gauge (3½", 5" and 7¼") but the emphasis is on 5" gauge. The track is laid at ground level to emulate main line practice in the construction and operation the railway.

What a fantastic collection of superb models. I'm a 'Stanier man' and particularly liked the blue Coronation. I see Britannias are popular as well. To be honest, it would be unfair to pick one, or even three favourites - they're all superb. Thank you for sharing. Al.

I actually found it by chance on a none running day and said to myself I must come back when they was running, which turned out to be the following weekend for their gala.

I was only there Saturday till 1:30 pm as I had to travel to wales, next time I will hopefully get a full day or two.
