Definitely. I see weird pro-trump posts directly on CNN videos, and I wonder, are there really that many real American trump supporters watching CNN all the time? NO! They watch Fox and other sources. SO those pro-trump posts on CNN are probably mostly from Russian-backed trolls. We must keep countering them, and freedom and truth can still prevail.

Basically all governments and societies have done horrible things in the past, but some societies/governments have a significant portion of the population and leaders who are actively working to make up for past evils. It is a kind of national repentance. Those countries that show signs of national repentance and reform are on the right track. In contrast, the governments of Russia and other authoritarian countries are plunging themselves headlong into he*l.

I strongly recommend reading her book. It’s a brilliant description of what Russian trolls can do to a public person who calls out their bulls%^t. Ms. Aro has some staying power to hang in there in the face of the abuse she received. It’s about time social media companies learn some social responsibility and removed these trolls/Fascists from our public discourse.

You can usually spot them by the time zones that they post from like in western countries or if you’re looking in their past threads it’s nothing but post about Ukraine so you can’t spot them you just gotta look a little bit deeper.

TBH, many troll posts are obvious. I've been seeing an increase in more subtle ones over the past, say, 630 days. I'm encourage you to call the trolls or, especially if the threads are short. (Else your comment gets lost in the volume.) Also make your friends & family aware of the threat

It's actually quite simple. All they do is the manipulation of language. Observe the language tricks, and debunk them, but most importantly, decency and humanness is the most effective tool to sucessfully counter the russian covert operations. Seize the moral high ground, strike with your moral power.

You gotta ask yourself about the wisdom of a guy would rather troll and spam the world - rather than bring prosperity to the country he is supposed to be running. Putin reminds me of the show Pinky and the Brain. What are we going to do tonight Brain - same as every night Pinky - Try to take over the world. And that is what putin reminds me of -

KZread has been censoring Ukraine content heavily. A lot of channels are constantly being attacked with complaints, being demonitised etc.

I would like to reach Ms. Aro to learn more about the targeting of African Americans. Working as I do to help communities to connect and to ensure that all people qualified get the chance to exercise their franchise, it seems that exposing the active measures taken against democracy through the targeting of marginalized groups is an opportunity to connect in truth and purpose between the minority and the majority.
