The Run Down: The Angrybird, My Drift SR20 Turbo Nissan Bluebird

Though this car is fairly basic it has proved competitive in the Pro Class of the Hi-Tec Drift Australia Championship, it’s a whole heap of fun to drive too!
Series 3 1985 bluebird GX
- Motor: S13 SR20det blacktop freshly rebuilt, cosmetic head gasket, ARP2000 head studs, BC valve springs, Tomei 256 cams, Taarks water pump blank, solid engine mounts, always had Penrite oil changed every event.
- Inlet: Stock s13 inlet manifold with Taarks fuel rail, Bosch 1150cc injectors, adjustable FPR, heater lines looped in race works braid & fittings, Z32 AFM
- Exhaust: steam pipe exhaust mani, Kinugawa TD06-SL2-20g (8cm), turbosmart 40mm external gate with screamer pipe, blitz electronic boost controller with 4 settings, 3” stainless exhaust with 1 hotdog and twin star blast pipes.
- Tune: Nisstune ECU tuned by Dr. Drift making 325rwkw on 23psi & E85, walbro 416 in tank pump (r31 wagon tank)
- Cooling: 300x600x75mm intercooler mounted in bay, 52mm alloy rad, Davies Craig EWP & controller, 13 row oil cooler and remote filter all running -10 braid & fittings
- Gearbox: VG30 gearbox with steel 3/4th selector, JDI cut n shut Bellhousing, Jim Berry Race Clutch “Full Monty” clutch solid centre 4 puck with 4100lb clamp load, thick wall single piece tail shaft
- Diff: Series 3 Bluebird H190 with solid pinion spacer, stock 29spline axles and Drum rear brakes
- Suspension & Steering:
- Front - 10kg Silkroad S13 front coil overs, laser cut camber tips with 20mm offset, Acostal Blatant 1st revision S13 front arms and knuckles (massive lock) series 3 crossmember with S13 power rack 25mm forward
- Rear - Shockworks 5kg r31 coilovers, super pro bushes (super grippy setup)
- Interior: Cams Sched J bolt in 6 point with intrusions, 2x Genuine Bride Brix 1.5 seats, genuine Takata 4 point harnesses, momo wheel, Zenki gauges, oil temp, oil press, water temp, eBay in-line hydro, cut out front & rear doors, battery isolator, thermo override switch, top of window brake lights (switched)
- Exterior: plastic 55mm Bolt-on flares rear, 45mm front, Camaro chin lip, bling designs two tone blue speedboat glitter wrap over white, SSS grille, fender mirrors, rear towbar (bashbar) with jacking point, hako style front oil cooler not connected (lesson learnt)

    Propulsion arrière, ou modulable. ici la propulsion arrière, facile à conduire en montagne & virages. Pour cette voiture longue entre ses essieux, tendance à aller droit, de bonnes traductions sont possibles en transeuropean. Plaisir de conduite incomparable, excellente modularité sur des propulsions arrières simples. On peut les garer "tête dans le mou".
