Robert is ambitious, power hungry, manipulative, ruthless and I just love it. He is the character that keeps this so going for me more than anyone else, even though I think that the season is great overall... probably the best they've given us.

I was about to stop seeing the show because I was bored and then Robert / Max arrived and I fell in love! he is a complex, charming, smart character that makes the show interesting and I love his feeleing with Willow

lexies grey eventually someone I can agree with! for me it's not about Robert as a person but Robert as a fictional character, it's the only one in the show who keeps things intriguing, and it's been a long time since I saw such a controversial figure and an actor with such a great performance!

It's strange, but I'm starting to like Robert

I love Robert. He really is brilliant.

I just finished watching The Royals and I love Robert so much. He's liegit the best character on the show. The lead male the show was missing for the first 2 seasons. The show got better when he got there tbh (the first season was lowkey boring in comparison to 3 & 4). Season 4 was the best season of all. I am heartbroken that the Royals was cancelled.

Only len could outsmart Robert at this point. Sit tight royal subjects.... were in for a treat.

He does know what happened to the last king to try and shut down parliament

Robert has no reason to hurt Willow, Liam doesnt have interest on her so whats the difference? They are just trying to mislead us to keep the interest on. maybe he is arrogant but he is the only one who tried to rule the country he is monarch and he spent his life prepearing for this role, and then what, he is supposed to abandon all those sucrifices he did? because Liam who has spent all his life partying one day woke up and said i m ready to be king? and excuse me but Liam isnt better either, he slept with his brothers Girlfriend and used Greta. Robert returned to his girl believing that she still had feeling for him, what was he supposed to do when he learnt about them? give them his blessings? every time Liam has an opinion for his brother the fans are like: Yess Robert is bad, robert this, Robert the other, where is the proof? because he doesnt like Jasper? the same Jasper who used Eleanor in the first place? where the hell he is supposed to know his true feelings? he was absent for 2 seasons!

Guys I am just trying to tell you that if a show of any kind was so predictable then what's the point of continuing watching it? besides that, what's the point of making Robert the bad guy for once again? there are two types of fans this moment 1. those who support Robert and 2. those who don't. if things turn out to be bad about Robbie, then the first group would probably stop watching the series due to disappointment and the others would say ok nothing I haven't expected, so if I was a writer I wouldn't want any of these cases to happen bc then, that would have meant that I totally suck in scripts!

Robert will always be my second favourite character, but his father was powerful and genuine, most likeable character and the smartest by far to realise Roberts inherent flaws.

It's too bad that they cancelled the show. Because I want to see how the family will bring down Robert. Of course Liam is always the first one to notice that something is wrong about his brother. And I don't think Robert is in love with Willow. As matter of fact I think Robert is a sosioupat. Causing a blackout and not even bothering how much damage it will bring. His father was right about him.

Honestly I have such respect for Robert I mean he caused the blackout making parliament look incompetent so that the people would have no cause for concern when he decides to shut down parliament and at the same time giving him full and unlimited power. ( also I think he married willow instead of Cassandra because he didn’t want to have anyone standing in his way or any competition). Like if u agree and comment any other theories.

do not be surprised! It is a show where everything is invented and the laws change according to what the writers want. No one in that family is a true noble and behaves like a member of a royal family (except robert). they are funny in part for this

Technically speaking the Monarch does have the right to dissolve parliament at their discretion, they haven't done it since right after the Napoleonic wars 1820s I think, but they can. However, that supposed to be immediately followed by new elections. A king ruling by fiat hasn't been done since Charles I and he ended up executed, they even made a reference to the members of parliament who signed his death warrant in a different episode. On the other hand history definitely took a different turn in this world, probably somewhere around the Glorious Revolution with the Monarchy holding MUCH more official prerogatives, they just didn't use them, until now.

I can't seem to find anything or anyone talking about the vile creator of this show! Why are fans of this show not talking about this? I literelly don't get it, I like watching this show but the fact that the creator of the show mark has had so many evil things come out about him... just ruins the whole thing. I'm really confused , should I keep watching...I don't know . I really feel for the people who were victims of this vile man. But why did they continue working with mark ? I don't get that part! It SICKENS me that mark is *still* credited on EVERY episode of the royals season 4, we have to see his name as... Executive producer it's disgusting!!!!! I thought he was fired?!?!?! You mean to tell me he's still being credited lol that's not firing!

May Flower I think Len will see who Robert true colors before 4x10 and start hate him. In season 4 trailer we see photos of Robert and Eleanor being burn mabey she finds out He did last christmas and burns them.

Eleanor even the Queen doesn’t agree with this!!! Your brother may be decent, but decent doesn’t always mean good! He’s manipulative and ruthless. And probably did kill his father. Just saying.....

No offense but I think the current parliament of the uk (England and Scotland) should be replace them with a new parliment consisting of actual capable British people, the truth is asian and Africans are openly biased when comes to certain things including politicalpositions, if its fine for them to be biased then should be ok for Britishers or Europeans to biased as well. Also king Charles iii should abdicate and let William take over , given the many problems Elizabeth ii left behind is proof that no modern monarch should be allowed sit on a throne for way too long in the modern word , if they are too old, too sick and incapable of ruling or reigning over the people of Britain then parliament should demand or request the monarch to abdicate, and let's face it Charles hasn't done much as king , and people still hate for the way he treated diana. People of Britain rise up before it's way too late
