Full title reads: "The Royal Tour - Round The World with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh - Fiji and Tonga". Credits at the start item.
Fiji. CU Fijians. LV Queen Elizabeth II steps ashore walking with Governor. She stops, three year old Mei Kainona walks forward, bows and presents bouquet. VS guards. VS car carrying Queen and Prince Philip drives through streets. The Royals arrive at Albert Park. Shots as Queen walks to dais. VS of Fijians in crowd. Ceremonies honour Queen. Local sacred drink Kava is prepared and served to Queen and Duke. Various good shots of traditional dances. Their Majesties leave. VS of Fijian girls dancing at school which the Queen visits. Boys and girls dance. VS of the Harbour as the Royals arrive to board the flying boat that takes them on next stage of tour. People wave as the plane takes off.

    I know, as you do, that the British forcefully colonised alot of places. However, Fiji was an exception. Dominant Fijian chiefs ceded their country to Britain in the hope that it would be better than being inevitably taken by Americans, Germans or the French. Fijian chiefs knew that they were no match for the white man's weaponry. I'm not attempting to defend the British, but that is what happened, and that is why Fijians generally don't rubbish Britain.
