My grandfather joined the Royal Scots in 1939 as a Private, had a stint with Royal Engineers, Commando Training at Spean Bridge and finished his War with The King's East Africa Rifles as an RSM/W.O. - seemingly he helped to train Idi Amin!

A very proud and distinctive regiment, that no longer exists due to the UK Government MOD spending cuts, to our Military. All the three armed forces have serve reduce there capacity and efficiency of tasks for the future and security of UK.
