Lost my dad in that hospital Maurice Francis Coughlan so glad to see getting demolished yeah lost my dad to cancer so brings back bad memories of the place so nice to see it go rest in peace dad gone but never forgotten 😢x

Sorry about your loss mate, it's where I went to when i suffered a stroke but lucky for me I'm ok but it's so sad when there is such loss as loved ones 😔

@@greybeardmedia-merseysidebey sorry to hear you had a stroke hope your okay now tho as I watch your channel on KZread so yeah lost my dad to cancer four years ago in the Royal hospital brings back bad memories for me and my family me dad was 76 at the time so glad to see it go as couldn’t agree more mate so be good and stay safe as love watching content on your KZread 👍x

Thanks Greybeard, excellent coverage of the demolition. Like others on your channel I’ve got personal connections to this place. Most memorable one was a late Friday night back in 2009. My Dad was in ICU @ Broadgreen, Mum taken ill & no ambulances @ the time so drove to the Royal. 2 hours in a corridor, then more mayhem, screaming in A&E & a guy confronting an armed policeman at the entrance. It was all a bit bizarre and surreal. Not just for that reason, I will be well happy when this place has gone

Your welcome mate, sorry for the experience you had to go through in 2009, I was certainly luckier with my times in that place but it certainly is time for the building to disappear 👍
