I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

Thank you for this fun video! I don't understand the hate that some people have for this bag. I am a fan of The Row bags, although I have yet to purchase a Margaux given the hand-carry factor. If it is in fact overhyped, I think that we need to invent a new word to then accurately describe the "hype" for the Birkin or Kelly bags. I live in the downtown of a major American city and I see more Birkins than Margauxs. Margaux is simple but so timeless, as you mentioned, and very attractive IMHO. The fact that it's readily available to purchase (well, mostly) doesn't make it common! I hope that you enjoy your Margaux in good health 🙏🏼

Love this review and I love your channel! I am waiting for the restock as I type, for the 15 size. I do have a question, not related to the bag. I am assuming that you live in London, we are traveling to London in July and we are going back and forth on were to stay. Can you recommend any really nice hotels? We want something very nice, whether it is a boutique hotel or not, but a 4 or 5 star. This is a special trip for us! Thanks so much!

Great review! I have a 10, in the saddle leather and I'm on every waiting list possible for a 12. The leather quality is phenomenal.

I just bought the Margaux in Dark Chocolate smooth leather, and I'm waiting for delivery. I'm scared about the scratching, but I just LOVE that dark brown so much, I couldn't help but get it.

If it gets heavy it can be a little meh - but I am a top handle bag lover to be honest so I do not find it too annoying at all - perfect to chuck in the snacks after a shop - but I might not take this with me for a big food shop day honestly xx

I love the Row Margaux 15 it is a beautiful bag but it’s not a replacement for the Birkin. The Hermes Birkin is in a class of its own and always will be, I do really love the large size I say the bigger the better!

@@dinavienna tbh it's a manufactured hype. Raise the price so people think it's exclusive, make it hard to get so people assign status to it. Unlike the Birkin, which has a origin story and born out of necessity to women for a functional yet stylish bag.

@@giangboo yes but how many women would have gone crazy over the functional Birkin bag had it not had the manufactured hype .. there have been open totes that can also be closed by various designers and they ve all had success ( think Celine luggage or phantom, think lv Montaigne etc). The birkin wouldn’t be what it is today had it not had a price of more than double that of cc bags (not anymore todax lol) and had it been more readily available for purchase

@@dinavienna all the other bags came after the Birkin design. So they are more or less a copycat. I'm not a Birkin fan by any means I'm merely stating that the Margaux is at best an unimaginative ripoff of the pricing strategy and marketing that made the Birkin a blistering success, sans originality

It’s a duffle bag.

I feel like this is another overhyped bag. Hermes is hard to attain so people just find another bag to compensate for what they can’t have. This bag is such a plain Jane bag and I don’t care what anyone says or try to justify it. You can say the leather is great but you can find a lot more contemporary brand that offer great materials for way less. Way overpriced for such a hideous bag.

To say people find substitute for what they cannot have…is hideous. The birkins are briefcases. What woman needs a briefcase? This bag being reviewed is a duffle bag, no appeal

Good and informative video, but my choice was always *yutulux*

The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your bbkbags bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.
