is there a reason that the laser goggles from Kickstarter are green as compared to the ones in the video which are the same color as the enclosure pannels?

Is there any reason you couldn't do laser cutting with the rotary module on a hollow wooden cylinder? I'd imagine it would be best to put some smaller metal cylinder inside (probably black) to catch the beam as it goes through and prevent it from burning the inside of the cylinder that is being cut, but it seems like you could cut designs into a wooden cylinder to use as a candle shroud or something.

is it possible to engrave cone-shaped objects in one step?

What is software to design

They should make super fast printing

The rotary mod is sick but why would snapmaker make a laser engraving video tutorial for it? People have already printed custom add-ons to do this. What I’m saying is why didn’t snapmaker make a CNC video instead? Makes more sense to me.

No worries! The CNC video is coming!😀

This Video states the outward clamping is 136mm and the manual states it as 100mm; however, in reality the max diameter is around 90mm so it will not do large tumblers without making custom shims…. Disappointed in this fact.

Sorry for the confusion. The Maximum Material Size is 225 x 68mm The Maximum Outward-clamping is 100mm
