If you like the Rose (Woosung) you should also check out. Onewe start with "Aurora" Yonghoon is a powerhouse on vocals. You can see that Kang Hyun (guitarist) and Harin (drummer) feed off each other energy, their little solo on each song just builds the song up

My faith in humanity is restored a bit every time someone reacts to or mentions The Rose. Thank you for checking out this performance, although this was way too short! We do need a live marathon of requests

@@krissybell76 So true... to me it feels like ILYSB was made to be played by The Rose and Woosung's voice. I tried listening to the original by LANY and it just wasn't for me, but without LANY we'd never have had this gem... Honestly, The Rose did what covers of songs should do, they elevated it.

His voice is stunning. I've only recently discovered them too. Softer ones are "She's In The Rain", "You're Beautiful" and "Black Rose", "Alive" and "Back To Me" are heavier sound - all amazing!!

OMG J, this was the song that drug me over into listening to their whole discography and it's a cover apparently? It's Suga's fault. He did a feature on Snooze on Suga's D Day album.I don't even care. Woosung's voice is insane. The more I dug in, the more I realized how awesome Dojoon's (keyboardist) voice is as well. They're pretty hilarious as a band together just from a chemistry standpoint as well. Love the vibe overall.

For a long time, I did not realize that Dojoon was singing! I don’t watch the screen, most of the time, so I had no idea. These guys are so severely underrated. Sammy has that special quality in his voice….. dreamy.

There's times that Woosung's voice cracks on this one and then he drops f-bombs like they're sprinkles. I love how authentic and funny they are. Can't wait to see them in a few weeks!!

Woosung is insane. He has the voice, the charisma, he is funny and handsome. The Rose is an amazing Indie Rock Band, all their songs can touch and speak to your soul. Dojoon, Hajoon, Jaehyeong and Woosung of course, they are incredibly talented 🌹🌹🌹

The Rose is one of those groups that if you like one of their songs, you'll end up in a rabbit hole listening to everything else they do.

Woosung is one of my favourite people of all time. Like not even just his voice, he’s such a beautiful human being. Words can’t even describe. He’s so precious, beautiful, talented and very dedicated to his music. I’d suggest to check out the song “I.L.Y” it’s got a similar vibe to Sorry and ILYSB. But also when 2 of the members did their military service he made some of his own solo music. One song in particular that I absolutely love is “Phase me”. It’s beautiful, relatable, raw and honest. Sending lots of love from Australia 🥰🫶🏻 I really wish they come here one day. Honestly… life would feel complete the day they tour here 😭.

Oh I love that you love his voice! He is amazing live! I was lucky enough to see them last Oct 29th, in Atlanta, and I'm going again ,a year to the day later!! Its just an experience, they ate so talented, funny, and you have to hear the new album DUAL. And Beauty and The Beast is an earlier song! Oh and She's in the Rain too!!

I really love their "Back to Me. The lead singer also has a feature on Suga's song called Snooze. It's so good, and he sounds amazing. And apparently, he wrote his own part for it, which I think is fantastic.

A friend and I were talking about how hard it is for Asian Americans to make it in the US market and started counting up how many Americans we have heard of in Kpop. So many 2nd generation Korean-Americans have gone back to Korea to make it big, because there's just no hope for them to score in entertainment in the US climate. Starting with Woosung of the Rose, Joshua from Seventeen, Mark Tuan of Got7, Ok Taecyeon from 2pm, Tiffany and Jessica from Girls's Generation, AleXa, Eric Nam, Bobby from iKON, Johnny and Jaehyun from NCT, Eric in The Boyz, Kai from TxT and his sister Lea who is in Viva--the list is endless. All those people ought to have been able to make it big in the US but we blew them off. It sometimes feels like we write off so much talent in this country-the Rose spent the summer touring the US and Canada and selling out shows, so why couldn’t Sammy Kim get recognized for his amazing voice before he went to Korea to become Kim Woosung?

I certainly hope you have watched the fan made video of Snooze by Suga. It features Woosung, and is a song encouraging new musicians to not give up their dreams. I’m sure you as a musician will relate to it, Woosung just absolutely slays, and of course Suga is nothing other than magnificent.

I've been a fan of The Rose for years, at the time DAY6 was my favorite band. Now due to DAY6's weird break The Rose is now my favorite band. Don't get my wrong I love Day6 they have a special place in my heart but it's been so lonely without them... and I've been to two The Rose's concerts. They were amazing! Hopefully they will be around for a long time because I can't if they ever go on a break like Day6 (if you know you know)... :D

ILYSB is a cover they sang on their beginning, but it kind of stick on them because black roses love it so much 😅 If you like the more ballad rock, I recommend you “She’s in the rain” or “Like we used too” or “Childhood” or “Definition of ugly”. With their latest album “Dual” they’ve tried multiples genre, so it’s different but also very good 😊
