My Grandparents were from Poland. When my grandfather died I was 13 and moved in with my grandmother to help her. She didn’t speak English or could not read or write. She would always have an apron on and in the pocket was her rosary. I would see her many times during the day with her hand in the pocket and she would be saying her rosary. I could hear her saying it. She would kneel down every night by her bed and pray in polish. She lived till she was 96 years old. I loved her so much. Such good memories.

I loved my great-grandmother my Babici. She would pray her rosary in bed too. She lived to be 95 and I had her till I was 32 years old. I just lost my dear mother 3 weeks ago and my grandmother is still here. Please pray for the soul of my Mother . Her name is Sharon.

The last 5 years was a very scary road deeply diving into new age and open to just about anything..... the things I saw and experienced father 😭....and in all my experimenting I found no peace no truth like the catholic faith. Nothing even compares. October 3rd 2021 I confessed, and renounced all of it even my reiki mastery. All at his feet. My heart and my will, my life...belongs to god king ALONE and I will tell my story and humble myself before any soul. May Christ use my experience and humility to build the kingdom 🙏

The story about the martyrs of Uganda is so moving , one was tied to a tree and skinned alive wild dogs tore him apart but never gave up his love for the Lord, then those that were burnt alive kept singing and praying..their stories are so moving you wonder if we have half the faith and trust in Jesus Christ they had...🙏🙏🙏

Much of the story on Boko Haram is true. Some of the girls were released in batches as the priest described. Also, last month in northern Nigeria, the story (with images) was told of a group of people who were going to attack a church. Thunder struck their vehicle and set them ablaze. None survived. Miracles still happen because our God is a living God.

Get your Bible and read the passages that go to the mysteries until you have memorized them. Then when you have, picture those things at the beginning of each decade. It has helped me and I am less distracted.

Go to A site called A Catholic Minute on youtube they have many prayers including the rosary with all mysteries. It's run by a young couple with their 7 young children. You can pray along with them as they say all prayers at the perfect speed and with heartfelt emotion. 💙🙏🏿💙🙏🏻💙

Thanks for this rosary enlightening. Nigeria is at a trying period at the moment. So a group of Catholics ( total strangers) begun a midnight rosary via Google meet daily, where we are praying for Our Lady's intercession over the insecurity in the country and the 2023 election in which one of the presidential aspirants is a devout rosary praying catholic. This is a confirmation from the Holyspirit for me not to give up because I was having some sort of doubt that our prayers were ineffective . This popped up immediately I opened my KZread this morning .

Father Chris, I have fallen asleep many time while praying my Rosary and awoken reciting the ROSARY while asleep, still holding my Rosary. I need to sit on the edge of my bed, in order to finish the Rosary at nighttime. I enjoyed your video very much, thank you, God’s Blessings to you and your family always. I usually recite my Rosary during the day with the Chaplet of Mercy. Father Chris, you have such a great sense of humor.

About a year ago I started to pray the rosary daily and one day after I woke up all I could smell was very significant smell of roses and I started to run around the house to look for open window because I didn't understand where is the fragrance coming from but there wasn't any open window!!! Thank you Father, You just helped me to feel less guilty when I couldn’t concentrate when I say the Rosary. I even fell asleep a few times but I know the evil one doesn’t want me to say it . By the help of Mother MARY, I sometimes overcome that tiredness by moving around. I was worried that I am sinning but now, I know it could be Our LADY helping me. GOD bless for this talk you gave.

This teaching makes stronger and stronger. I don't have a car, but whenever i catch a bus , i say my rosary and it makes my journeys enjoyable and comforting.

Same here. I used to take public transport and pray the rosary along the way. I was never frantic to reach my destination. ❤

I found it so difficult to pray the rosary without being distracted by other things. But since over 20 years I pray rosary daily and as the years went by, I found out that these distractions have dissapeared. When I could not sleep from distress, I only took a rosary and began to pray thanking satan for waking me up to pray my rosary.😄😄 I never came to the second decade without falling asleep. I did this several times and the devil stopped disturbing my sleep. He knows what I would do if he does that. Now I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow without bad dreams or nightmares! Rosary is wonderful. It has trully changed my life. Yes, satan hates the rosary prayers. Thank you Father for this lesson it only strengthen me to devote myself even more to this wonderful prayer.🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for sharing Our Lady of Las Lajas. I was so fascinated by it when I first discovered it a year ago. How can anyone deny something so miraculous? Unexplainable by science. My mother would say when you fall asleep praying the rosary, your guardian angel will finish it for you! Praise be God! Yes I have those times when it is hard to get through too. If I fall asleep at night praying it, I make myself finish in the morning from the last thing I remember from before I fell asleep. I think it drives the devil nuts. Do it with your coffee or tea.

I had someone say, why do you pray to her, she is dead. I was so tempted to say so is Jesus. Instead I said try praying a rosary a day for week and then you will know why. Father, I was so happy to learn about the indulgences. I was so happy that I was on board for all except the last one. The one about venial sins. @franktrautman because it is the original language of the church after Greek. Latin was the languid Romans. Christianity started basically in Rome and grew very rapidly there. Latin is the original language of the Holy Mass. @DivineMercy correct me if I’m wrong.

I have always loved the Rosary. When I was a kid we always prayed the Rosary after dinner, led by my mother. Then in the 60s and 70s we were told that Vatican II had gotten rid of all devotions and we should no longer say the Rosary. My visit to Medjugorje in 1988 changed all that. Now I pray it daily. Thank you Fr. Chris for your teachings on a most beautiful and efficacious devotion.

I love your mother's "this is my machine gun". God bless her and you", I think you covered all of my excuses. I always learn something listening to you. I have been praying the rosary since Aug 2020. I have received many graces. These three stand out. Two months after I began, my older brother who was given up for adoption found us. And two days ago my nephew who was also given up for adoption contacted us. But the first was finding you on the internet. Thank you and God bless everyone who makes it possible.

Thank you fr.Chris, I learn so much from you, and I enjoy so much listening to your lectures , you are God sent. I made a promise to the virgin Mary that I would never ever skip a day of praying the rosary. It´s been 3 months now and still going strong. I do the joyful mysteries on Mon & Thu, sorrowful on Tue & Fri, glorious on Wed, Sat & Sun. I find myself more focused doing it this way. I sure hope it´s acceptable.🙏

I started listening to Father Chris eight months ago and this series is exceptional, but this talk on the rosary is one of his top 10! Angels and Divine Mercy talks are 2 other “must listen “ to talks. As a lifelong Catholic, I realize my instruction is ongoing and this series is truly a gift from God. Thank you 🙏🏻

Once Again, thank you Fr. Chris for sending us to seminary. Lucky that I'm not wearing anymore a watch so I don't look the time while watching your video. When I was in high school, with my boardmates tried to play the spirit of the glass( in the Phils) like ouja boards. Thanks God it failed. But I have confessed all those including palm reading and card reading since I consulted these, just for curiosity. I pray my Rosary early in the morning when I wake up after 12 MN and after go back to sleep until my alarm go off for work. Fr. Chris, my Rosary is my machine gun to shot the devil. Thank you for these beautiful Divine Mercy- understanding our Faith episodes. These help me so much. I grew up Catholic but know VERY little about the Canon laws, Dogma's, basically the Baltimore catechism and Bible. I know a lot about the Angel's and Saints. These episodes teach me so much. These are SO valuable. Please pray for me though. I suffer from depression/addictions/mental/emotional traumas and sometimes it takes everything that I got to cling to our Lord and Our Lady. Oh Jesus, I surrender myself and my entire family to You take care of everything. God bless ALL of you my brother's and sister's in Christ. Ave Maria! Viva Cristo Rey! If I don't pray my rosary , honestly I feel that something is missing I feel very uneasy. But once I pray my rosary I feel much better.

Thank you Fr. Chris for these two teachings on the Rosary, some new information and some review (always good to review and get a deeper understanding of anything). I find it is easier to pray the rosary in the morning, but if I end up getting to it in the evening, I persevere as best I can through distractions, sometimes taking more that 30 minutes to finally finish! Explanation of praying the rosary during Adoration was very informative. Blessings to you and all Marian Priests and Marian Helpers!
