A short video taken in an Air Canada hangar at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where they were staging, as they often did, for the Rolling Stones North American tours. Getting ready this time for the Voodoo Lounge Tour of 1994. I was there on site configuring 8 channels of Abekas digital video effects for their stage production crew. No live rehearsals just the technical set-up here.

Saw them in Edmonton of all places. Then loaded up the whole family and drove to Vancouver to see 2 shows of them. It was a fun time. Took my kids when they were young to see them and it was awesome. In Edmonton we were front row. Both girls brought flowers and during the show a security guy told me to have the kids ready because he was going to lift them up to the stage. Next time Mick Jagger came by to us the kids each gave him the flowers. He thanked them and blew a kiss He took the flowers over beside Charlie and laid them down and they were there for the whole show. When the show was over the security guy brought all of us up on the stage and gave a set list to my daughter that had comments hand written all over it. At the bottom Mick had written "go Bobby go!" for Brown Sugar. I still have that set list.

I go to every tour, but I still think this was the best and most exciting opening with ‘Not Fade Away’.

It was a good one. Mick skipping out with the red coat on. I had nice 7th row seats.
Saw it in Toronto in September and again in Montreal in December. Great shows. Been a fan since I was a little kid hearing my older siblings playing albums in the sixties. I was born in 1961. There was always great music in our house. Even my folks listened to big band and jazz.

that's what SHE SAID last night.
They put on the most polished performances of their entire career throughout this tour. Even the tours with Mick Taylor were never this good. The late 60’s early 70’s were their creative songwriting and recording peak no doubt but this tour was by far their peak as for live performing, and I’m not talking about all the bells and whistles. I’m talking about how well they played and sounded.
