THE ROLLING STONES - GIMME SHELTER (1970) PARTE 1

Never ever bs with the Stones.Just raw rock & roll at its best. Was it Muddy Waters that said “The blues had a baby and they named it rock & roll”
I love the raw sound of tube amps. I can really feel it in my gut. For me that is way better than just musician skills with guitar.

Hanging the sound on stage made the stones a whole different band along with mick taylor of course
Mick Taylor was such a great addition to the Stones...sort of put them over the top!

Total different like from the ya ya`s version, but intended to be the same. Many overdubs on ya ya. The chorus is total different, but I like the album too.
Much thanks for uploading this unforgettable film! Welcome to the breakfast show!
Wow!,I just happened across your uploads for this documentary.Seeing the Rolling Stones many years ago, this is like a flash back.Much appreciate your doing this & taking the time as well.Awesome!!!!!!
Beautiful .love the Stones
Man, this is fanfreakintastic. Excellent they're filming for the picture for the album Get yer yaya's out. Thanks for posting this man. This is GREAT! and closed captioned too. I am the original Stones fan, haha.
Thank you for posting this great documentary.
THanks a lot for sharing this Doc.
Love Charlie & the Donkey
They' were so good at or near the end of a tour, or when they lived with or close to each other and played together a lot. That peaked in the '72 tour and started to go downhill after that because they ended up spread all over the globe.
Esto es buen rocknroll..!!!!! Gracias por subir este video!
It's clear that what drives the Rolling Stones is that both Jagger and Richards are addicted to being on stage. What a rush it must be to get up on stage before 15,000, 20,000, or more people with a great band behind you. It's clear Brian was not up to performing the last few years in the Stones, although when you listen to stuff from 64 and 65 he was an amazing player. RIP.

Tomas D. I simply *cannot* watch “Ladies & Gentlemen-The Rolling Stones”. The documentary covering their 1972 Exile tour for that exact reason. The filmmaker would rather show shots of the fucking crowd than of Bill Wyman.

You don't realise how it was Mick Jagger and the rolling stones back then. Jagger was seen as the ultimate rebel against the system, dangerous even like the devil and no one cared about the others. Keef had to get busted for drugs to be known

La mejor banda de rock

Why did you cut off the last minute of this and not add it to part 2?
Minutes of the camera zooming in on Mick and Charlie as they listen to themselves get roasted is kind of weird
@laylabojangles Not sure now actually! Looks like he's welling up a bit at one point. I checked out your channel and you like alot of my favourite music, so i subbed ya. Im working on a time machine and if i can get back to the 60's you can defo tag along. I just need some more flower power to get it working.. lol ;)
I believe i know mick jagger personally If he is the person I know he would never allow someone to be killed he looks torn about everything in the film .. I pray for gods wisdom

Mick said Cleary what he was thinking about the Hells after the concert, to the point they tried to attack his house in New York, he was informed after by the FBI.
These Angles were not the Haight Ashbury chapter from Frisco they´ve expected to be there.

Hahaha. That’s ridiculous. Pretty sure Jagger had seen enough tit at that point in his life, not to make a big deal about it. In all likelihood he couldn’t hear his stage monitor & asked a tech to turn it up.

Re H.A. - Many of them were/are vets = tough men not hippies or flower children. So they’re not going to take any BS off any snot nosed privileged kids that haven’t fought for their country. I had an uncle came back from Korean conflict -so called - it was hell he went into a bike gang in LA not sure which one, and deep into the bottle heard horror stories from his experience in Korea from my aunt after he passed
