KI is my home park and growing up I always thought CP was better due to its bigger coasters, but as I get older I realize that I’ve never been to a park as good as KI.

I have to get back there on a normal summer day to see these supposed legendary operations. I went for my first time this past Saturday, the first operating day of the season and they were super slow at dispatches. Everyone was still learning though as it was literally the first day of the season that they were actually loading guests, so I have to give them a pass for that.

@@AirtimeThrills Oh, they ran three trains, but they were stacked all day. Lol. Particularly on Diamondstack and Orion. The others weren’t so bad, I guess. Timbers was rolling them out pretty decent.

Kings island is truly an amazing park

Racer got alot of trackwork over the off-season so let's see if it got any smoother this year. I admit it is a one and done for me and it is my home park. I would love to see the 1st axis go in the old Vortex plot but with greater success than the original Bat. Or a Vekoma launched looper of some sort. After losing Firehawk and Vortex we need some inversions back in the park!

@@AirtimeThrills Thanks so much for the reply. I didn't realize that before that coasters are that short. 2 lifts in some cases like Adventure Express and The Beast. Yeah I love Kings Island. I've been there 9 times before and loved it every time.

Yeah The Racer has all new track from the lift hill to the back turn around. I can't wait to ride it! They took it down to the cross ties so all the layers are new.

These videos are the most random thing but also the most entertaining

Sorry to nitpick, I know you get these videos out very quickly and sometimes errors occur, but you say the boomerang is 101.3 feet but RCDB and your your graphic shows 131.3 feet. Oh well. STILL a great video showcasing all of the coaster and how they rank. This will be helpful when I eventually make it over to that park. Great video dude! keep em coming

If you thought he said "it could really use a few more elements" on this video, he'd be a broken record about that in GAm. Half their coasters feel too short

So I’m watching Trevor Bauer’s channel today which somehow got me going down a rabbit hole of watching Eric Gagne videos and I run across one and once it starts I’m thinking the narrator sounds so much like Airtime Thrills it’s scary. Then a couple mins you actually introduce yourself and then that totally explained why lol. Great Gagne video BTW

Haha yes i really enjoyed doing a baseball video

To get an accurate picture of the beast, you need to ride it at night when the air is crisp. For some reason it runs faster at night. The more humid it is, the slower this one goes. You also need to catch it on the right time when it can get over the first lift till faster. The first lift hill really controls the speed of the ride and you can get up there in miles per hour.

Who would've thought Flight of Fear had that much prime ride time 🤷‍♂️

Racer after the 2021 retrack is fantastic! Still a wooden coaster, still kinda rough, but it is heads and shoulders above last year.

I miss Kings Island, this made me want to go back and ride Flight of Fear the most for some reason.

I had been to KI So many times that (true story), I had been on the Original Bat, on the first season it was there.. It's ALWAYS been a gorgeous park.

This video made me extra excited for my ohio coaster trip in late august!!

I'll be there in August i cant wait!!!

I'm going here for the first time in 3 weeks. :D (Also doing Cedar Point in the same trip.) This has been a bucket list park for years for me.

I highly recommend riding The Racer if anybody is going this year. The retracking Gravity Group did makes the ride very smooth especially compared to how rough it was last year.

I was just at the park today, and I think they have a great progression of coasters: Tier 1: pumpkin coaster Tier 2: Woodstock express, aerial chase, backlot stunt coaster Tier 3: Racer, mystic timbers, flight of fear, the bat Tier 4: Beast, Banshee, Orion, diamondback Wasn’t sure where to put adventure express (2or3), invertigo (3or4).

I was at Knott’s yesterday and I really enjoyed Sierra Sidewinder and Coast Rider. And the shin guards didn’t bother me at Coast Rider.

Awesome video as always, where’d you get that beast logo?

RMC racer, raise drop 32 feet to 120ft. go into a speed hill, high five, have sides cross, with left side doing an off-axis airtime hill, and right side doing a barrel over the left. add a camelback, and go into the turn-around. on the return trip, both coasters go through a barrel- roll drop of the turnaround, 2 speed hills, a zero-g stall and a few bunny hills.

No surprise here, the Beast will always be my fav.

Removing Vortex and Firehawk was a mistake. The Bat and Flight Of Fear have seen their better days, every time I rode FOF I regretted it due the line length. Can't escape once inside!

It’s whould be great if you chould do maybe a short vid on Alton towers in the uk it’s my home park and has some really good coasters

The titan track on the Racer made the first half much more enjoyable. I think it's once again a must ride when you go to the park!

It’s not Titan track, it is GG prefab wood track. Gravity Group actually got an award for it.

@@TheNinjaDC the only unbearable part about the beast (for me) is that first drop so if that’s a part of it i’ll be pumped. That could be a very very good change that hopefully doesn’t take away too much from it! I appreciate the knowledge.

@Lucas Sallee Well, more good news. The two parts specifically called out for the biggest overhauls in this retracking is the double helix and first drop. Both are having major structural alterations on top of new track. The first drop is going to get steeper amongst a more modern curve.

Adventure Express caught me so off guard

These by the numbers videos are cool, but you should rank them on a more broad scale rather than just prime ride time. Say like take the numbers of ride time, length, speed, pacing , etc..Take those numbers and average them to get the ranking, or if you think certain stats are more important you can weight them by saying this stat is worth 1 point..this one is worth 2. I would love to see these videos with the coasters ranked on more then just the prime ride time.

Kings Island has been operating for a long time now. Plus, it's very Ironic that Kings Island operates 14 roller coasters, (which is not that much anyway. Plus, I say a park that operates 30 coasters is that much to operated. So I prefer 20 coasters to operate than over 20 anyway.) Soon Kings Island gets more coasters this will be very challenging!

Got an idea for a video or series. Probably dumb idea but figured couldn't hurt to mention. Miles or hours worth driving to a park. Could base it on coasters or overall experience. Example. I have never been to Lake Compounce to get on Boulder Dash. It's a six hour drive. Worth the drive? I think six hours too far. So maybe Lake Compounce would be in the 4 hour range. I also haven't been to Kings Dominion in long time. I am only 3 hours from Kings but think with I305 and Timbers, would be in the 6 hour category.

Orion has become the best coaster at the park this year, RIP Diamondback and Mystic Timbers. That drop in the back 3 rows is crazy and the speed hill is super intense. If you’re reading this try one of those three rows out this year!

Wait, do make sure you know what ur walking into though. There are little to no masks being worn in the park. I’d only recommend going if you have both doses or J&J vaccine

Great vid, and gets me excited about the possibility of a trip to Ohio later this year. Just curious...if your vacation time is tight and you can only visit one Ohio Park - Cedar Point or Kings Island - which one would you choose?

They have revamped the tracks on The Racer, and people have said it's much smoother now. I can't wait until I get a chance to go back.
