Rest well Ove.
I have a defretted German Active Corvette 5 string and the amount of versatility on this instrument is incredible. The preamp is so broad and useful. I never paid much mind to Warwick basses as I was a more traditional Fender guy but a deal fell into my hands and I gave Warwick a try and I am so happy i did! Incredible instruments!!!
As to the string type, I've been using two 5 string fretless Rockbasses for about 7 years with roundwounds. Just make sure you use nickel. At one point I was doing about 200 shows a year; 4 hours a night. No discernable wear except the typical indentations. Once a year I do a light sanding and tung oil. vid here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rGykxrJsiMayZ9I.html
I like the growly sound of the B-string.
I think I'm in love.
Beautiful

Hi, Im from México, and can't find yet any rockbass left handed model, so would you help me out please
how much does it cost? where I can buy it (country, store)? Is it possible to order fretless with frets signs?
It's bass-ically a longer version of the thumb model.
where could i get this bass in the U.S., I can only find the fretted version online

Devin Meehan, please contact: www.usmusiccorp.com/ to find your local dealer! Best regards, Michael.
I've noticed you use normal (not-flatwound) strings on this video. Do you recommend using flatwound for fretless?

No, rounds have more singing sustain and mwah.

@@cbrunhaver yes, but they will damage the fingerboard a lot more than flats

Pablo Ferrándiz Dehesa it’s really a non issue (I’ve owned a bunch of fretless basses). Worst case, some minor fingerboard dressing every few years (I’ve never had that much wear). Be like Pino - rounds on fretless and flats on fretted basses.

Ebony is less likely to wear than rosewood. Some guys have a very heavy touch and wear out frets never mind wood. If you want to protect your bass go for flats but if you don’t mind some minor repairs use whatever you want.

I would say just don't use stainless steel for rounds. I have a Squier Bronco Bass which is now fretless. I loaded some nickel-plated round wound light-gauge strings and I see no visible wear on the fingerboard. The neck is fully maple.
Is there an option for fret lines on the fretless?

I have not seen a Warwick/ RB Bass Fretless with Fret lines yet. But you should try the normal fretless basses. It needs some time but it might be easier than you think.

Lined fretless would be helpful. Out of tune fretless is not a good thing....

My Streamer fretless with ebony fingerboard has the usual white dots on the side of the neck - does me.
hey, Pink Floyd.
Are these tuned B-G or E-C?

Use your ears.

I hear some notes below the E string, so it's pretty much a low-B tuning. It's less common to see players using high-C tuning.

I love this so much, but the only thing that throws me off is the blend. I've never understood why anyone would want a blend + master volume on a bass instead of 2 volume controlls
@JorgeLeitner

I'm the opposite, I never liked having two volume controls, I prefere the blending option.
