When you have former wrestlers such as Bubba Ray Dudley, The Coach, Maven, Undertaker all say on their podcasts this definitely wasn’t the original plan, it definitely wasn’t the plan and I’m glad they went a different way. Makes no sense to have Rock and Roman face off for 3 days later they join against Cody

Could you do a breakdown of what royal rumble is and what the prize is?

Totally agree with you and thought the exact same thing when I heard him say it. They really need to button that up because it will show that they are committed to telling logical stories now. We went through so many years where Vince McMahon was booking almost in contempt of the wrestling fan. It was obvious that he thought that we're all dumb.

It felt like when Vince was in charge he just heard what the fans wanted and did the opposite HHH and his team have done a great job overall telling amazing stories and given us some fantastic TV and character development on all levels not just the top stars. I know they will do better as we keep going I just like to point things out and give my opinion, glad I’m not the only one who feels that way

@@TheMikeSanchezShow it stuck out to me because it just seems like a counterproductive thing to say it gives fuel to the fire of the people that are now bitching that it's not going to be Rock / Roman... which is okay people are entitled to their opinion but I would think the main goal right now is to get Kodi over to the highest extent possible

The rock thinks him & his family can have their cake & eat it too. As if they are entitled to it, although the rock & his fam has been in the biz for years, its a bit acting like a spoiled brat

And I like that that’s the angle he took in turning a heel, I just want them to explain it a little bit better

here is my issue with this. wrestlemania was SET after cody won the rumble. people were going to see that wrestlemania to see whats gonna happen. Now the excuse of ooo we did this to make more money crap is utter bullshit. they were gonna make a butload of money thanks to cody vs roman. sooo what was the point of the rock coming back really? i have no idea

Yes, thats why I laugh when people say "its a bigger money match" meanwhile before the Rock ever was rumored to come back Wrestlemania Sold Out. Rock vs Roman is the right match at the absolute Worst Time. I still wanna see it, but I wanna see Roman vs Cody 2

I think a lot what's happening in the company at one time with the rock coming on as a board member, the Netflix deal and then that affidavit dropping on McMahon... then you have Rollins get hurt and you have Punk get hurt and since The Rock has a personal relationship with the guy that runs endeavor which owns WWE now he probably reached out and offered to "save" the card. Hunter knew this was in play but went ahead and had Cody win the rumble as was originally planned because he had a feeling that the fans would back Cody and would show that these guys should just trust Hunter and his booking and stay the original path. That KZread video getting ratioed like it did sealed the deal probably and who knows what we don't know... maybe the rock started training heavy for the match and realized he wasn't ready or maybe even got hurt I wasn't going to be able to do what is expected in a WrestleMania Main Event type match. Now you can involve The Rock in this Feud which will make it bigger and you can use the Finish to start the build-up for Rock versus Roman next year or later this year and again depending on the Finish you can *make* Cody Rhodes in the meantime. The Rock versus Roman Reigns doesn't need the championship on the line. Bacon headline a night of WrestleMania next year and then you can still have a championship match to headline the second night. Sorry didn't mean to write a book lol voice text I get carried away

@@jamesmiller5331 I agree with you 100% on everything you said . this is how I felt from the beginning. HHH said himself he knew what was coming and booked Cody to Win anyways. Cody was always the plan, and things shifted, and it just proved HHH right in that the original plan was the best plan. It gives Cody and Roman even more eyes on them with the rock being involved AND hes a bad guy so people are gonna pay to see that, me included. Rock and Roman will happen eventually just not right now. I like where the stories can go with the bloodline and the rock

Doesn't matter. Reigns will win anyway with Bloodline interference, so its technically all for nothing

I don't think they do a rematch from last year if they were just going to have Roman go over. Nope, The Rock will either purposefully or inadvertently caused Roman the title and then you build to Roman versus rock at next year's WrestleMania
