He’s created a tons of work and opportunities for common folk and athletes. Wrestling is strictly for the fans and doesn’t create as much as the other things he’s doing

As a hardcore wrestling fan since 99 Its these sort of blockbuster matches like this that bring the all the casual fans from the 90s & 00s back to watch, this has the potential to be a phenomenal build up.

He would be gassed out in every match, wrestling needs physique, skills and immense cardio, it has nothing to do with the physique. The skill is what he is missing, whatever the rock did against mahal was pure muscle memory. You can watch his match against punk a decade ago at the royal rumble, punk carried him the whole match cause he was gassed out, a decade ago he was still young but still couldn't hang in because of the ring rust, I agree it is age but not just that one factor alone.

Wrestlemania 39 would've been the better event for this. 1. Roman was calling out the Elders to "certify" him as Tribal Chief. 2. Roman was proclaiming to be the Head of the Table after beating both Usos and telling them he's the one that has to pay for the whole tribe etc. 3. He was abusing the rest of the Bloodline. Bullying them. Manipulating them. When Roman kept calling himself the Tribal Chief, GodMode, etc, that's when the Rock should've called him out. This here, storywise, is plain stupid. So, for months, Roman has not said anything about being the provider, best in the whole family, etc, and suddenly, the Rock, without provocation, calls out Roman? Lame. A match between the two will most definitely be one for the ages, but if the build-up was because of Day 1, that's stupid. You can't say this feud "started" months ago, because there was no interaction between the 2. The Rock was at Smackdown weeks ago, and was there a stare off or at least a conversation between the 2? Nope. Wasted opportunity. Still, great match if it happens, but wasted build-up.
