the reason why you can see games but cant play games is because this is the page for people that played as Guests, when roblox removed them, the ability to play it got away too, so you can just browse it very low

its not the page for guests, the error shows that the webpage attempted to redirect to market://details (the launcher url for the google play store) when clicking the join button this means that its still using the same html from current roblox (probably s or some android function) and it still has the functionality, it still notices that the person is using an android, so it tries to open in the app, or google play if they dont have the app, and it fails (its not a browser!!)

That is surprising, 8 years ago and it still works.

The old Roblox app was just a browser that opens the Roblox sites. As you can see at 5:48, this is an old error from like 2012 used in browsers for Android. It was used until 2018 when slowly browser creators introduced their own error screens. Some browsers still display this one (like the Roblox app).

Roblox should add something kinda like the Light and Dark settings but you can change the themes, like modern and classic.

Same, around 2009-2011 for me. 2016 still feels like the new era of Roblox for me, even though I know it's been ages since then. Probably because Roblox stopped being Roblox back in 2019-2020, it basically died in my mind and so I don't see it as a new era but the end of an era and the death of the platform. Sad times.

I managed to get the 2016 roblox client working on ios 15.8.1 by finding a 2016 client on the internet archive and changing some values to bypass the upgrade screen. Looks a bit weird because modern roblox is still broken for me but nonetheless it works

A lot of people have actually modified the old client to have it fully working with all the new apis with Roblox android this gives you the full ability to use the app and play games

(for tablet users) you can also glitch out the roblox upgrade option by being on portrait mode first, it then forces it to go into landscape mode and it glitches it off.

There's a way to "log-in" in the app, and that is by using the "Log with another device" thing, just go to a random game, try to click the like button and use the cross device login method.

I heavily doubt there will be any way to do it on ios due to it being an apk, which is the standard application file type for android, which ios has no compatibility with. Maybe if you jailbreak the phone and get some android emulator then run it from that, but that would just be pointless.
