My son moved to Penn, we visited and decided to take the scenic, backroad kinda random rout back thru Ohio. The british have a saying...GOBSMACKED?! That about covers it. Decaying homes and towns, whole areas wiped flat to foundations and concrete slabs. Houses falling apart with one room tin roofed and fixed up enough to live while rest of house is literally falling to dust! Guy at gas stop told us his front room has a giant tent in it with all their furniture, tv and computer set up and dry. So sad. Not much better where my son is in central Pennsylvania either. Even their cars are all whell drive, or its hopeless to make the 2-1/2 hr drive to work then back everyday. Because thats where the closest decent wage is at for machinists now... sigh. Best wishes all, win the lottery, or work 60hrs a week and save 10%of your gross pay in a 401k savings. otherwise, its crumbly roads and busted up homes for you too.

call the service director or city garage. better yet. go to college and study government operations and then come back and run for office and repair the roads properly.
