Kelly Racer has won a new follower, I've been watching this channel for a while and found it quite interesting . Todd gives a very good commentary into the way things are done which can be understood in layman terms. These guys are doing things out of the norm and showing the general public how they go about their way of life, their passion and dedication to a sport they love,Kelly racing is also setting a standard by allowing the viewers to have an insight into how they are adapting from the past to the future. Look forward to the other episodes. Great work

This shows how Todd has become a really competent engineer, and understands all aspects of the car. I see why he decided to walk away from the driving aspect and focus on this side of things.

Great insights here. Amazing the amount of design and unique fabrication that goes on in each team. The significant message shone through and without wanting to detract from the amazing skills and talents on display: what a ridiculously, pointless waste of time, effort and money is expended designing stuff that NOBODY watching the racing from ANY aspect could possibly appreciate. Therefore why oh why doesn't the category mandate a single spec and share IP for water pumps, oil pumps, sumps, body to chassis mounting pieces, suspension arms, hubs the list goes on and on. Surely there's a way this could be shared at a fraction of the current cost. No wonder the sport is strangling itself in cost. So much duplication between teams running the same car brands of non-competition altering componentry must surely stifle the actual competition changing stuff to some degree.

Thanks for the video update. Very impressive. Lots of work to do before Adelaide. Just one thought. Costs must escalate quite a lot when each team has to fabricate so many components. Would it not be better if all the teams used more shared parts? That seem to be one of the recent development starting to happen in Formula 1.

Shows how fundamentally the cost issues wth V8 Supercars is. Gees take a few panels off, put a few different ones on & a Nissan becomes a Ford Mustang. It was supposed to cut costs but looking at the technology here, it’s not going to be cheap. Watching the “Enforcer & the Dude”:you can see the point they make about costs. These guys are building a unique car, surely things like ancillaries could be the same accross all Mustangs.

If any of them are keen i think it would be interesting to have a chat with some of your employees about how they got to where they are. It would be good for any young kids who think they might want to get invovled in the sport to see all the different roles and whats required for them. From the designers to the guys in the machine shop there are loads of jobs people know very little about.
