@@Luke-kc9li You don't know what you are talking about. Post apocalyptic means after apocalypse. Apocalypse does not always mean nuclear war, it can be anything that threatens all life, such as disease or flood ect. You probably shouldn't call people idiots before checking your facts.

It's good, but the reading is too literal. You touch on the symbolism, but don't properly delve into the very Biblical allegory. Remember, when it comes to a literary analysis, the characters are not real - they only exist to embody an idea or to further a message or to explore a theme. For example, though 'the ash' certainly serves as a reminder of the old world, I would argue that it also symbolizes our growing detachment from God, that it's not just humanity and the Earth that has crumbled, but the Heavens, too, have fallen. This is supported by the fact that every mention of 'light', 'dawn', 'dusk', 'sky', etc., is prefixed by 'gray', showing how God is blocked from our view and the world has become morally ambiguous. Even then, it's a shallow reading, as you could then go further down that route and start exploring the resemblance of Christ in the boy, and whatnot, but I won't do it in a KZread comment. Why did you record it externally though? There are several ways of recording your screen, and I believe it's possible to upload a presentation directly to KZread (though I'm not certain on that).

It never says it was a nuclear war in the movie or book. I'm not saying it wasn't. It's just wasn't made clear.

By inference, that's the only conclusion that can be drawn. Symptoms of radiation poisoning in the father, the presence of so many skeletons, the ash, the clocks stopping at once, the booms and flashes. While we now know that a nuclear winter won't last nearly as long as the road indicates it has lasted, the author is from a time where that wasn't known.

You could have just captures your screen via fraps.
