I prefer this version immensely more, it's just so wonderful to have Aether and Lumine singing it instead. Especially the harmony, it just hits hard.

@@rainl4750 As far as I know Sarah does singing, she posted song cover on her yt channel. For Zach, I'm not sure or familiar if he does singing. But it is not uncommon for voice actors to be able to sing, so I wouldn't be surprised if he does

For CN Voice Actors they sing some DAMN CLEAN English! They're GOOD.I mean, I dunno how that usually goes with CN Voice Actors, but since China is often kinda... "China-centric" in many things, I didn't quite expect them to sing THAT WELL in english. (no offense intended, I really don't know much about China and I don't wanna proclaim I do)

This may surprise you but... In my life interacting with people around the world. English speaking Caucasian folks tend to be the most unlikely group to know another language. Which is understandable, as in English speaking country, another language are elective, while in Asian country, many are mandatory to at least an early elementary level.

...foreign languages are also taught in schools there, just like how they are in the US and many other countries. English being the most common foreign language learned 😂

Chinese students learn English from a young age, it is a compulsory subject, and English tests will be with them until the end of their academic career, although the number of Chinese young people who can eventually master English is very small, so Lumine and Aether are really excellent. It's harder for JP VA as there's usually a lot more restriction in their contract I.e. A VA with good singing voice may have clause in their contract that they can only sing under "x" label or that their voice work is own by their agency, and people need to get permission from the VA's agency before they could sing. CN VA are less restricted and many are streamer/v-tubers.

@@airstyles1989 Yeah, Aether's va does singing streams once in a while, while Lumine's va is an active vtuber. It's also due to the fact that CN has a lot less voice actors, and many are from the same agency, so they know each other better and can reach out for collabs easily.

prob bc more people know who Aimer is, her voice is very recognizable; my guess is that its better for advertisement by letting a famous singer sing for their game

it would have hit harder if the va's were singing yeah, but aimer still did a stellor job. But in the end the actualy va's did a cover of the song, so in the end does it even matter? We got aimer and va cover of the song this is great
