This is so incredibly beautiful. I am practicing the alto part and feel like I could never ever tire of hearing you sing this.

This piece has been special to me for years and I've agonized over all available recordings of it on youtube in search of what I believed to be the perfect recording. There's lots of good ones, but this one just annihilated them all. The balance, the legato, the blend, everything musically is executed with such care and attention to detail and is sung effortlessly. It's obvious that everyone is all in and that unity makes all the difference. And the SOLOIST. I've never heard the solo sung with both passion and tenderness before. So technically sound yet just immaculate to listen to. Gosh. This will absolutely be my reference recording for this piece until somebody possibly beats it. Thank you. Tears.

Absolutely stunning! Parts are perfectly balanced. That the soprano floated so effortlessly over the choir during her solo is both a tribute to her as a vocalist and to the choir for reducing their volume letting her shine while maintaining the vocal integrity of the other parts. I’ll be sure to look at, hopefully, other videos by this choir.
