Subtitle of this story is: "A Bristol - Avonmouth study." Introductory intertitle reads: "One of the most striking (but almost unnoticed) revolutions in Britain since the war has been the growth of new wonder-roads - " (shot missing?)
"This great low-level road is one of the new traffic arteries which will make our country fit for modern wheels to turn in." L/S of a very wide road with a few cars and a lorry driving away from the camera. This is followed by a shot of a river with a small tugboat pulling along two barges.
